Hm....I really don´t see the point in aiming for TC tickets this time.

They are more expensive and the only benefits are the 15 mins seemingly plus I´ll be travelling with my bro who´s got a disease in his back so we won´t be standing in front anyways.

And GA tickets will probably (hopefully) be an easy affair 8-)

The Mrs and I have decided to go to Amsterdam for the week, and catch the show while we're there.

So, I'm on the hunt for good hotels. I found a package deal on TravelRepublic, return flights from Liverpool and 6 nights at the Campanile Amsterdam Hotel and it comes to £250 each which isn't bad.

It's a 3-star hotel, and according to Google Maps its a 15-minute drive from the airport and a 15-minute drive from the Ziggo Dome. Has anyone heard of it?

Any other recommendations? It sounds like LOADS of people will be trying for Amsterdam, that makes me nervous!

I would recommend just Easyjet from Liverpool yourself for approx £100 (for 2 returns) and sort the hotel yourself. Plenty of central hotels that will be less than £400 for 6 nights.

Yeah I kinda feel the same way Dimi! Was in MSG in 2008, witg GA tickets, still had an amazing time!
But I might go for TC as well since I´d rather support the Ten Club than Ticketmaster.

However, people shouldn´t panic if they don´t get tix on tuesday.
It took one week to sell out Copenhagen in 2007 and I can´t imagine the other scandinavian shows will go fast either...

Btw, great you´re heading up north Dimi! I hope you will enjoy Copenhagen! Should be a special show!

    2 questions:

    1) I want a cheap centrally located place to stay in Amsterdam (Max of 50 euro a night). Any ideas? I don't mind hostels, sharing rooms with other 10C, crashing at peoples houses.... Preferably with other 10 clubbers in the area to hang out with

    2) Cell phones in Europe. I do not want to bring my phone from Israel because that will be VERY expensive for me. Are there any companies that rent cell phones? I will be in Amsterdam, Werchter and Berlin.
Still can't believe I met Mike Mccready at the Guggenheim and got a pic with him!!!!!

Not sure how practical this will be, but getting a pay-as-you-go sim card in each country could be an option...
They are cheap in Greece, but I have no idea how much they cost abroad...

    You´re welcome.
It was interesting since it was the first gig since Roskilde.
I don´t think the GA tickets will go fast this time.
Too many factors why they shouldn´t. Pricey tickets, close to christmas, financial crisis times in general and so on...

That being said, I ain´t taking no chances tuesday and thursday, I will be in front of my computer ON time!

Yeah... too expensive to do 4 shows....
I prefer Copenhagen because it's the last show of the tour, it's the smallest (and most intimate) venue, and also my flight from Stockholm to Athens has 12 hours stopover in Copenhagen which means no need for accommodation or another plane ticket... :D

Have you already booked? Maybe 3 or 4 of us can split a private room. That way the price will be cheap and we will be able to lock the door when we are not there. Also we can have a tour atmosphere.
Anybody interested? I am planning on staying in Amsterdam from Sunday the 24th until Wednesday the 27th.

Ooh you make a good point about Copenhagen being the last show. I was shooting for Oslo and probably skipping Copenhagen, but maybe I should do Copenhagan instead? Or maybe both? Argh. I can see it now,"Oh yes, I need to declare bankruptcy because I spent all my money and then some on the Pearl Jam tour. Yes, I said Pearl Jam".

I've bought 10C tickets twice with no problems or delays at all...
One was for Athens which was on sale on 10C for a few weeks...
The other was Wembley '07 which was really smooth and had no hiccups at all... no cmd-R!! (F5 on a mac)
Hope this time is the same!! :)
