Really excited for another excuse to see some of the world. I have a small problem though. I will be travelling alone to the Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen shows ( if I'm able to get fan tix ). I will, therefore have an extra fan club ticket for all those shows. I would like to know if somebody or somebodies would be interested in a fan club ticket for those shows.
sure..wait after presale..then we see who is out of tickets and do the connections..
you dont have to worry of giving your spare ,especially in Europe, when all tix are the same and seniority doesnt count cos of GA shows. . :)
Thanks Dimi, just want to share the experience.

  • The Berlin Show this time is indoor at the O2. The venue is close to one of the biggest Party Areas in Berlin. Frierichshain/Kreuzberg. Lots of clubs and bars there and easy public transport.

    Cheap Hotels:

Closest Station is "Berlin - Ostbahnhof".

I would say Motel One is the best, but compared to all Hotels/Hostels for this price in London or Amsterdam
they all great. But it depends on what you want.
    You can also try.

    A good hotel search engine.

Hotels should be in the Area of:
    Friedrichshain or
    Kreuzberg or
    Mitte

What I'm looking for is something clean and safe close to Mitte. I want to be able to leave my laptop in the hotel without worrying, and getting a decent shower. I will stay in Berlin for 5 nights and will try to spend as little time as possible in a room... I want to be outside all the time, so the room can be small,, just to sleep and shower.

Last time I was in Berlin I stayed close to Pankstrasse on Prinzenallee and the area seemed a bit weird... Is that a good area? I know it's not central....

Been looking at travel plans today...cuz I just know I'll get all the tix I want :? 8-)

Not gonna bother with flying as my first choice but instead I'm gonna put my trust in the trains! Venues in Stockholm, Oslo & Copenhagen are all closer to central stations than they are to airports, so I can save travel time and money...I think. But then again, there's not much time between the Oslo and Copenhagen gigs. Might have to fly then :?: I can even get the train from Oslo to Berlin...but 17+ hrs of travelling. Hmm, I'll have to think abt it :P

    Here are some useful links:
trains in Sweden (in English - you can search for connections to and from Oslo): http://www.sj.se/start/startpage/index.form?l=en

Interrail (offers rail passes you can use in just one listed country or a 'global' pass you can use for a number of days in several listed euro countries): http://www.interrailnet.com/

ResRobot (a travel search engine kinda thing - founf this very useful!!): http://reseplanerare.resrobot.se/bin/qu ... _resrobot&

Thing with rail travel is that you can't see any prices for July 2012 yet...so if your plans have to be set in stone this early, I'd go with flying :)
if I keep holding out,.... will the light shine through?
