It was a great, great night (and day). Hit the queue for Tickets at 10.30-my mate Darren was already there scoping out the line to get in on the Northeast side. I was there with my cousin Ant who is a fan-not a nutty, geeky fan like me but hey! I was in the insanely bright flouresent jacket for most of the afternoon-and the Idlewild t-shirt!

Made it abotut 4 rows back on stones side just to the right of Stone.

I love Idlewild so it was a great start to the gig-really just perfect actually

I've been to a few shows now but pleasingly heard some songs I've never heard live before like SOLAT, Inside Job, Low Light, Long Road, Down, parachutes, bushleaguer, no more and indifference-can't believe I've never heard all those songs played live before! They were all rarities to me-so it was ace.

Got to see my friend Dr Lou Smith from the deep south of the US of A who was so kind and did amazing things for me for my 3 US shows in 2003-Hi Lou-email soon!

It was great to see Darren (and his brother Jonathan) again (met them in the queue at Astoria-Darren got me into Jools so I'm forever in his debt).

All in all brilliant-had a quick journey home too!

Great to see all the PJ fans out in force again-that's probably the best part of the whole thing!

On a bit of a come down from the gig now tho-I guess alot of us are feeling like that!

    See you all soon!
I think i was just in front of you man, i had a "music for rhino's" tee on. Was it you guys who were talking about how idelwild's drummer had a really rock n' roll name- Colin i think! If it was you guys i apologize if i landed on any of your toes! What an amazing experience! its a week on and i'm still not back on planet earth, somehow i don't think i'll ever be the same again after being part of that gig! I can totally get what Ben Harper meant in Lance Mercers book when he said the show was so high energy he slept for two days straight!( except I need to sleep but i've been walkin' round in a trance since i got home!) Big love to all who were there- till the next time!
  • London was so so so damn special! I was expecting for a special concert, yes, but I wasn't expecting for Long Road, Faithfull, Low Light, IMMORTALITY, Down, Present Tense, all in one single show!
After 4 non Porch shows, there it was ^^

I will never forget the Immortality moment, no matter how many concerts I attend to.

I will never forget also all the portuguese fans who went from Portugal to England just for the show... all of you made it even more special...

For those who felt bother with the flags, Sorry. I know how unpleasent it is when you want to see the band and all you can see are heads (in my case), or flags... I tried to show my flag to the band only at the end of some songs and put it down when I was asked to.

What really pisses me off are some smart asses who ALWAYS try to get in the line, disrespecting fans like myself who woke up 6am just to wait in the line.
"If You hate something, don't you do it too"

    Oh well...

Great Show though :D Can't wait for the next one!!

Pearl Jam. London. Great band, great city. I thank the band for an awesome show, and thank the people of the UK for making the show, as well as the rest of our little vacation, an unbelievable time! Can't wait to get back out there and see some more of Europe...

I was right left of this picture at the other door. The friends we were talking to are the ones standing in the corner left. And I also recognize someone from the Red Mosquito Board, sitting on the right :). Cool picture!

Nice to meet you! well kind of!!

Chris is more georgeous up close both physically and personaly than I could ever dream. I shook his hands on the way in and again on the way out and electricity cursed through my body. I was shaking so much I hadn't even realised he had his hand on my shoulder but I was very aware of my finger tips on the small of his back. This is begining to sound a bit creepy but I was mostly worried my sweaty palms were going to leave a damp patch on his shirt. What struck me most was how relaxed and chatty he was, I can only imagine how I would be at having a bunch of strangers trapsing in expecting something from me. For me it wasn't (just) about how good looking he is but meeting one of the authors of the soundtrack to the last 20 years of my life. I would be the same about any PJ or AIC or Soundgarden or Nirvana or Tool or Rush band members.

Forgive me, but this sounds like one of those voice-overs on the beginning of a TV porn movie. :D

What an amazing show. Just got back from Copenhagen, and thought I should give my view on both shows. They were on fire at both shows, but I would have to say the Wembley show was slightly more fantastic than Copenhagen.

I Got Shit, Present Tense, Long Road, State Of Love And Trust, Porch, Crazy Mary and Indifference all in one night was just unbelievable.

Also would like to state how brilliant the crowd was in the standing area, what a great atmosphere and made the night extra special.

Copenhagen was a great show, and the crowd was amazing. Love Reign O'r Me was fantastic and so was In Hiding and Light Years. the Band's Tribute to the victims and friends and family of Roskilde just showed how humble they are. True Gentlemen.
