In all fairness, I think they tried to let him finish when they realized, his mike did come back on and Taylor yelled something but I don't think Dave realized. :( :( I'm sure they will post on Facebook :D

  • thats not a surprise! haha. Theres a reason she's won every award shes been nominated for so far. never seen her live, but from what i can tell, she sounds exactly as she does on record in a live setting. she's the real deal. 21 is pretty much a pop masterpiece as far as im concerned. and the spectrum of people who are fans of adele extends way beyond a top 40 audience you'd expect to be her fans.

Haven't heard Adele before but her performance was terrific! I may have to listen to her album now.

Bruce, the Foos, Alicia Keys and Bonnie Rait, The Beach Boys, and Paul McCartney were my favorite performances also.

I loved seeing all the veteran singers' support for her too. And Taylor Swift. They are good representation for young singers, even though I'm not a huge Taylor fan. I love Adele though. The audience wasn't as impressed with Katy Perry but I thought she put on a good show. Chris Brown, meh.

I don't know what the rules are for being a new band to be eligible for a Grammy. They won best Alternative.

 hey I thought it was funny seeing Paul McCartney singing along to that one and the only word his new missus knew was 'rodeo'.

    hmmm just looked it up.

The official guidelines are as follows: "For a new artist who releases, during the Eligibility Year, the first recording which establishes the public identity of that artist." Note that this is not necessarily the first album released by an artist.

Something about being uncomfortable about being on the stage accepting a grammy, because he got into music not for anything other than the inherent good in making music. But then he said but it's not without gratitude that he was up there, and mentioned that there are so many others who deserve recognition who weren't there.

    Something like that.

Umm, is it just me or did they totally forget to include Etta James in the "In Memoriam" video??
