Robert sounds like a freaking god on disc 2 of the Zeppelin I remaster. A live show from Paris in '69

Yes he does. The ONLY reason i got the remaster was for that LIVE disc.

I got the deluxe vinyl reissue of Led Zep II yesterday from my local. Must say that the remastering sounds pretty fucking great, really nice separation on the instruments and the vocal effects on certain songs sound wicked. The companion record is sweet too, really enjoying the instrumental versions of some of their most well known songs like 'Thank You' and 'Moby Dick' and there's a couple of different solo's from Jimmy on some tracks. Very cool packaging too.

96 kHz/ 24 bit is almost sensory overload with some of these songs. Can't imagine how amazing IV and Houses of the Holy will sound.

Can't wait to hear the vinyl. Even the crappy amazon cloud mp3s sound pretty damn good. I and III are my favorite sounding Zep records from the old presses, so these should be amazing. Hopefully much better than the a Floyd reissues from last year or the year before.

Anybody else order from amazon? I just got around to ordering the deluxe editions and they seem to be back ordered, but I've seen other sites are still waiting in stock.

Just ordered the remastered deluxe I. I'll probably just get the standard remaster of II & III down the road.

thanks for this link! i found a LOT of studio demos & outtakes & shows a few years ago. there was some stuff i didn't have on the first 3 and what i have from the next 3 is PHENOMONAL! there's an entire '50's style "album" and some different versions of things. Physical Graffiti is my favorite album ever, so that's the one i'm salivating over, but now i can't wait for October!

Anybody got any love for In Through the Out Door? Page has expressed he thought it was a pretty strong album and that the critical response was skewed by the times. I love parts of it.

Wow. Miley Cyrus has covered "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" in a very Zeppelin-esque way. She did rename it "Baby, I'm Gonna Leave You" for some reason, but I have to admit, her vocals are pretty awesome on this cover.... I never thought I'd say that about Miley Cyrus, lol. She needs a better band, since the guitars aren't super great, but all in all, it pretty strong cover (of a cover). Anyway, here it is. :)

I may have been an idiot, but i didn't go on stage in front of a bunch of 13 year olds and give myself a pornographic vagina wedgie.
    She's yuck.

PJ,thanks for the laugh. Its been awhile since I have heard the medical term for "camel toe "referred to as "Pornographic vagina wedgie".I am pledging to use that in a sentence at least twice tomorrow when I get to my office.
