Can't wait for the LA & SD shows in a few weeks! I saw his show at the Ford in Hollywood back in May and thought it was incredible so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to go again. Excited to be right up front in LA. Lucked out and snagged 2nd row but there are not seats in front of mine so it's basically 1st row!
Love how he's changed up the set from the first round of touring earlier this year. Really want to hear Wooden Jesus and Blow Up the Outside World.
Ok, so I was lying when I said earlier that he "totally changed it up". He played a lot from the original set-list switched up the order after someone yelled out "Blow Up The Outside World" and then played a couple that weren't on the set list and skipped a few because he was talking a lot and ran out of time, I guess.
Here's the actual set he played (from setlist.fm):
1.Scar on the Sky
2.As Hope and Promise Fade
3.Ground Zero
4.Can't Change Me
5. Be Yourself (Audioslave song)
6.Wide Awake (Audioslave song)
7.Fell On Black Days (Soundgarden song)
8.Call Me a Dog (Temple of the Dog song)
9.Hunger Strike (Temple of the Dog song)
10.Wooden Jesus (Temple of the Dog song)
11.Seasons
12.Blow Up the Outside World (Soundgarden song)
13.Mind Riot Play (Soundgarden song)
14.When I'm Down
15.Burden In My Hand (Soundgarden song)
16.I Am the Highway (Audioslave song)
17. Long As I Can See The Light (Creedence Clearwater Revival cover)
18.Sunshower
19. Tangerine (Led Zeppelin cover)
20.Thank You (Led Zeppelin cover)
21.Doesn't Remind Me (Audioslave song)
22.A Day in the Life (The Beatles cover)
23. Encore:
23. Black Hole Sun (Soundgarden song)
24. Imagine (John Lennon cover)
I am debating going to see Chris in Lakewood, OH (Cleveland) on Dec 3rd. I was just up there at that venue for the Puscifer (Maynard James Keenan, which was a great show by the way). It is at Lakewood High School which was sort of an odd place for a concert like this but it wasn't bad. Some people complained about their being no alchohol or smoking allowed (which I couldn't care less personally and in someways glad). They were also super militant about cameras and cell phones and said they would eject anyone using their phone for any reason during the show (I think this was at the request of Puscifer who wanted the performance to be treated like an opera or movie presentation). Even during the break in between the opening and feature performance they told a guy sitting next to me put away his phone. You could of course go to the lobby to use your phone, but not in the auditorium.

when he played perth this year he asked at start of second show how many people were there the previous night and he (from memory) only played a couple of the same songs which were hunger strike, doesnt remind me (although night 1 was unplugged and without a mic), be yourself, cant change me, seasons, when i'm down and possibly black hole sun and dandelion... i'm not entirely sure about all of them though. it was cool though as there were enough changes to keep me happy
(not my video, mine are still trying to upload  )
Did u post pics, thanks for the video link. Carnegie Hall was beautiful, I think my high school auditorium was bigger. They were not kidding when they said Chris wanted to play smaller more intimate venues.
I would suggest everyone that has an opportunity to go see him anywhere should definitely do so. Carnegie didn't allow drinks in the auditorium so there was a lot less drunken yelling at in inappropriate times, though still a lot of flashing which is annoying.
My point is I think Eddie would have liked this venue but Pearl Jam is still so big that it would probably could not happen. Whereas Chris & Soundgarden are not mega popular, nor will they probably ever really be, so do catch this beautiful voice in these small venues while you can. The show was the steal of the next to PJ20 of course

I've been reading this thread over the past couple of weeks and really regretted not getting tickets when they first went on sale.
I couldn't take it any more and found great seats (row H) at a great price. I'm so excited about this show and about seeing it at the Orpheum Theatre in LA. I've never been there before and it looks beautiful.
Even in Monday’s biggest, highest vibrato wails — on Temple of the Dog’s “Call Me a Dog” and Audioslave’s “Wide Awake” — he sounded elegiac. Without going maudlin, he connected with two dead friends. A red telephone once owned by Jeff Buckley sat on his left, and for accompaniment on his ballad “When I’m Down,” he sang with a vinyl recording of the piano part originally played by Natasha Shneider, who died in 2008.
This was a show that gathered its power from humility, a good surprise from a man of Mr. Cornell’s skill set.

I this thread. Still in my Chris bubble from last week (Carnegie Hall, Redbank (loved all the love for jersey and talkn smack on Carnegie , Borgata x2, Vintage Vinyl (he broke his own rule to sign both Songbook and SG before the doors for me XD). ive seen him multiple times every tour and hes always fantastic but there was just some extra magic happening. I esp loved the looping on blow up outside world, lullabye hungerstrike, getting to FINALLY hear wooden jesus, state trooper (guitar solo alone worth 5hr hellride to redbank), atlantic city, thunder road, man of golden words into comfortably numb, mind riot, getaway car, sunflower and seasons in same set, thankyou into tangerine, hide your love away and meeting fans that share their front row glory for nothing (Borgata). A beautiful trip that I so didnt want to end.
Just back from sitting front row for this show in Burlington,VT. Un-believe-able. Chris sounded soo good. Call Me A Dog-Hunger Strike-Wooden Jesus made it for me, but an overall amazing set.
Okay, fuck it. I can't wait to share these anymore! Going to post 3 now and the rest when they have fully uploaded (I have 3 more). These are my videos from the Carnegie Hall show. They are pretty good if I do say so myself, except the bits where my hands get jittery. I'm always blown away when I hear When I'm Down.

Is he playing similar set lists each night or is he changing them up? The few I have seen seem to be kinda similar...
