And maybe it's only 4-5 hours. Indianapolis anyone?

I talk a good game until I hear 6-8 hours stuck in a car. On a school night. I'm a wimp when it comes to small, enclosed spaces.

BUT, if you have not seen Chris solo live, I dunno. Might be worth it

Indy is closer for me. And that's only 4-1/2 hours. But on a work night...hell....I'm a wimp as well. I just worry driving back by myself.

Take the rest of the week off, possibly? :D Or any chance you might be headed to the West Coast in December? December 17 show in San Diego is on a Saturday. Last show too. Hmm, maybe I should go to that show

It's a great theatre. I've seen Ben Harper and also Thom Yorke there. Can't wait for the 16th!
I've been reading this thread over the past couple of weeks and really regretted not getting tickets when they first went on sale.
I couldn't take it any more and found great seats (row H) at a great price. I'm so excited about this show and about seeing it at the Orpheum Theatre in LA. I've never been there before and it looks beautiful. :D

When I missed out on pre-sale tics I thought it wasn't meant to be especially since I'd been going to so many shows before and after PJ20. This thread told me there was no way I could miss this show! :D

What is the camera situation at Cornell's shows and at the Orpheum, is it as strict as EV?

Can't speak about the Orpheum, but Carnegie Hall has a "no camera" policy (says so right on the ticket, I even emailed to confirm) but it was clearly not enforced  Chris didn't seem bothered by all the flashes going off and as far as I know, none of the ushers told anyone to put their cameras away.

At the Town Hall show in NYC in April, cameras were allowed, but no recording of any kind. Photography with no flash was allowed. The ushers there were really strict.

I would probably just bring it if you're thinking you want to, worse case is they take it away from you but I haven't had anyone take a camera away from me yet, even at EV shows. Just be respectful, no flash and don't get in the way of others' views and I suspect you'll be able to take some good pics/videos. I was up in the First tier (loge-like) seats at Carnegie Hall and pretty much just rested my camera on my knee

Yes, there is a strict camera policy. It says no cameras will be admitted right on the Ticketmaster page so it looks like it will be as strict as EV. I was able to take pictures at Thom Yorke but I remember security getting on me about using the flash at one point. Don't even think I'm going to try to bring my camera to this one though. Sitting right up front in the 2nd row with nobody in front of me so I'd be pretty conspicuous with a camera. Looking forward to just being that close and enjoying it in the moment. :D
Going the following night in San Diego as well. Sitting 12th row and it doesn't say anything about cameras on TM's page so I might bring it that night.

    Thanks for the info.
I might try to hide it at the bottom of my purse, I just want to take a few no flash shots. Good job getting 2nd row, we're in the 8 row so I think I can be sly about it. You're right though, sometimes it's freeing to not have to think about it like at EV.
This is going to be sweet.

I just got back from the show in Poughkeepsie. Wow! What a great show. I'm horrible at remembering set lists, but was stoked that he played Seasons. Chris' brother, Pete, came out to sing one song about mid-way through the show. Chris sounds fantastic! For all of you who are going to see him in the next couple of weeks...enjoy!

  • Did they sing together or Peter separately? (in redbank they wouldve dueted if they didnt get stuck in traffic nightmare)

Pete sang by himself. I was surprised...I thought for sure they would have done a duet. Doesn't matter--it was still good.

Is Munk One going to sell this poster on his site? My friend was at the CT show and didn't have enough cash for the poster.

    Still jealous of you all!

I'm thinking you should if you're still considering it. What's the worse thing that will happen if you do? If it's nothing with long-term damaging consequences, go for it!

I almost didn't go to PJ20 (so far, gotta fly, no one to go with, but I really want to go to the US Open, yada yada yada). Finally a good friend of mine who's not into PJ at all said, "Listen, you clearly want to go, you've been talking about it for weeks. If you can afford to and can take time off from work, DO IT otherwise you will regret it." So I went
