(swoon). He does look good in them jeans. I might have to start a "Pics where Chris Cornell looks hot" thread :lol:

I'm pretty sure it has the potential to dominate the Other Music thread.

    Do we have a verdict?

Not going. I don't have someone to keep my boys. :( But in return I did order a turntable. :) So there is good and bad.

Now I can only hope and wish for him to play somewhere closer to Milwaukee now. :D

Aw, sorry to hear that Sheila. Be sure to hang this over their heads later on in their lives :D Chris has really been putting himself out there, I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up in your hood at some point next year, either doing the solo tour or some other project.

But yay turntable! I still need me one of those.

There's a music store up by my house...so I took a jaunt up there last night with my boys. All I have to say is HOLY BALLS!!! Expensive shite in there. They sell a 60 grand turntable. :o I almost died. He said he sells quite a few of them too!! :o
So instead I ordered myself a Pro-ject one. still pricey considering...but waaayyyy cheap compared to the 60 grand one.

So it's a win win. Plus it saves me money that I can put in my tour fund for next year. The East Coast is calling my name.

    awesome :) Good for you!
60 grand!? WOW. Why is it that expensive?
I need to get a new player. My (slightly broken) one was sold back in 2006 when my bf moved into my house. I wasn't really using it at the time, so to make room I sold it (and most of my records) at a garage sale.
    Dang I regret that.
But my focus is on first getting a decent sound system in the house; turntable will have to come later.

east coast? I think Im heading west or to Europe...depends where they play, when, and how much I get into the PJ bank account :)

who flipping knows why it's so expensive. It's a high end music store I went to.

I'd love to do Europe but with my boys, I can't leave them that long. Plus when I go east I can see family and friends and hit more shows up. If I were to go Euro I might only be able to swing one show.

I may have an extra ticket for the Indianapolis Cornell show. Row B in center. I think this may be 14th row depending on how many rows in the pit area. PM if interested.

For NYC, Chris came on around 9:00, I believe and played a little over 2 hours. I think he meant to play longer but he ran back out 2 minutes after he left the stage for the encore and muttered something about the place telling him he had gone over or something like that. Start time printed on ticket was 8:00. Not sure what time opening act went on, but I was disappointed with whatever it was I saw. I tried really hard too

What did you do to your cat!?

Just got back to Columbus from the Cleveland show...
    What an AMAZING performance!!!
    Chris was ON FIRE tonight...
Opener of "(What's so funny 'bout) Peace Love and Understanding" was INCREDIBLE &
His version of "A Day in the Life" was THE BEST EVER!!!
    We got "Seasons" too :D
At one point in the show, Chris brought Zach, a 7-yr old boy who was attending his FIRST CONCERT, on stage and gave him an autographed copy of the vinyl he uses during the show, It was pretty COOL to see Chris interact with Zach, and later, Chris told us a story about HIS 7-yr old son... playing around on stage during his shows earlier this tour!!
Also met some GREAT PJ Fans at the show tonight,
including the lady from the EV Solo show in Detroit
that prompted Ed to say "you wore a MIRRORBALL to a concert" and then requested that she take the shirt off for the rest of the show!!!:lol:
It was an UNBELIEVABLE EVENING!!!! :ugeek:

If you want the CD with bonus tracks, see if they have it at the show, I'm pretty sure they did, I just didn't have enough money for the posters and shirt and CD

I just got my CD from chriscornell.com. The bonus tracks are just downloads, so if you're getting the CD, just get it the cheapest you can, and then download the "bonus tracks" from his site.
