    I'd have to say Release. It was the first song I ever heard live from them. I will forever remember that spectacular moment. :mrgreen:

    Does anyone know of any interviews with the other bands from that weekend?

    I'm curious to hear their take, they are all great bands and I'm sure have great fans, but I'm sure at least one of them had to have looked out at the crowd during Release or hear all us f*ckers singing along to every song and be very impressed, maybe even a little envious :D I know I would be.

    As for fav song I'd have to agree Release + yeah 'fuckers' from Ed was fab too!!

    I'd love to make it for another APV destination weekend sometime & I sure as hell won't miss the whipped cream next time!!

    No question for me, it was Release. Absolutely fkn amazing. I wanted, I bet on it, I got, and the perfect opener for the perfect band, for the perfect weekend. It was like a coming home for PJ and the all the fans....the crowd sang every word with all of their heart soul. I was 9th row front and center and I can't tell you how incredibly loud that was. I literally felt like I was lifted off the ground during "WHERE IT TAKES MEEEEEE!"

    I know when Ed compiled the set list for Night 1, there was no way in hell they were opening with anything other than Release. It's the culmination of 20 years. I can't tell you how moved I was during the entire weekend, but during that song in particular.
