That electric guitar is one of the best things ever. I think it's Keith.

What's wrong with Toronto? First they bust Keith, now this. In spite of what he says, he probably was pretty drunk and obnoxious. Calling a lawyer, a newspaper and getting more booze isn't the proof of sobriety he seems to think it is. Still, drunk and obnoxious are par for the course at concerts. My buddy and I smoked a half ounce in our seats at our first Stones show, yet the ACC isn't letting drunk people in?

I can't help but think there might be more to the story. As the guy from Maple Leafs S&E said, the guy managed to stand out among thousands. He probably did something. Probably nothing worth losing his tickets over, but his I'm So Innocent story seems like bullshit too.

Bought some $85 tickets on Friday. Picked them up before the show and found out that I got pit tickets! Was able to get right up against the rail on Keith's side. Closest I have ever been to the Stones!

Congrats :D My $85 tix put me the as far away from the stage as you could be  . In the 400's at the very back of the arena. The good news is that during Sympathy I went down to watch the rest of the show from the top of the 100's. So i was just at the top of the stairs with my wife and an usher told us we had to move. I said "fine I'll go back to my seat" and proceeded to walk down the stairs towards the stage, and noticed some empty seats really close to the stage. We enjoyed the entire encore from some pretty kick ass seats right by the stage. :D Thank you to the lame fans who left before the encore.

Good on you for moving (too bad you didn't do it earlier). Really?!?! Who walks out early during a rock concert (esp. the Stones?). I know from experience that Ottawa is bad for this, and would have thought that this wouldn't be an issue in a city like Montreal.

It's been going on the whole tour, there have been multiple threads about it over on IORR. Several people have mentioned that there are quite a few people going who don't seem all that into it, like they're just going so they can say they saw The Stones or whatever, and ducking out after catching some of the hits.

I'll never be surprised at how some people are. We have the entire spectrum of human behaviour safely encompassed. I can't imagine getting into the venue, listening to a few tunes, cheering, clapping, and then looking my buddy in the eye and saying, "Well? Ready?"

My friend walked out of Soundgarden in Vancouver, but he had a reasonable reason- the sound was so bad that it was enough to drive a guy batty. He's a good concert-goer- a veteran with much experience- so I'll give him a pass on that one, but I'll be monitoring his future concert behaviours in case he's slipping off the rails and discipline is warranted  .

    I keep checking here:

    http://www.rollingstones.com/tickets/

and when the button for $85 is red then you can click it and it will take you to the right page to buy them. I saw that yesterday for tonight's Boston show. There is also a link towards the top of that page that you can sign up to get a notification:

That should be awesome. He and John Mayer were fantastic on "Goin' Down" during the PPV special. I had never heard of him before, but I was very impressed.

    For anybody who missed it...

that would be fantastic. I saw him the other week on the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction on HBO, they played when Albert King was inducted, just awesome, great blues.

I heard Brad Paisley will join the Stones on stage next week in Philly. um, who's that? country?

All $85 tickets say "GA"...it means nothing. Your ticket assignment is random when you get to will call and is more determined by which seats were originally unsold at full price along with some pit tickets sprinkled in.

I did very well with the 85's in Chicago. Pit one night and club level side stage the other night. We took our son to the 2nd chicago gig and had to pay regular price to get three seats together. Seen four shows this tour and am regretting not going to Boston or Philly!
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.

good to know about the $85 tickets. Looking at the options for the Boston show tonight on ticketmaster, you would think that there were different sections available, and the pair I was able to pull up yesterday said GA
