    WE BELONG TOGETHER..........

The polar opposite of a U.S. crowd. In the U.S. people are too worried about getting their pants wet in the lawn or getting up as close as they can. In other countries in doesn't matter where you are in the arena because the whole crowd is jumping up and down and singing along. :D

    A night to remember
They came on stage just after 9.15 and mike was just starting a long YL with LW tag at 11.59 so three hours (almost ?)
Crowd was sensational and we had front row seats mike´s side v close to the stage looking out over those amazing fans It was just like being at a BIG football game.

Any show with Release, Immortality and Garden is going to be a classic - Porch was blazing.

Great to meet Sergio from Portugal again, sorry for shouting your name out over the crowd so loudly in true "Dan" style.
And great thanks to the couple who found us wandering around La Plata lost who took us all the way back to our hotel in BA (Bio Chemist and Wedding Planner) TWO SAMARITANS.
Got us back to BA by 2.00am rather than sometime around dawn which would otherwise have been the case.

Unfortunately for me I will have to listen closely to the bootleg as my ears got all blocked with water swimming in the Iguazu falls earlier in the week but the night still rocked

  • Hello everybody. I'm from Buenos Aires. Excuse for my bad english.
I am at the office. I woke up at 7AM , only 4 hs of sleep but.....I really don't care.
I'm so happy for have attended to another PJ concert.
Again, as the two shows in 2005, the concert was awesome, epic an full of anthems and emotions.

The setlist was really great. Played song from every album (except Binaural). More than 30 songs, almost 3 hours. I´m hoarse for singing yesterday. Really excited and kinda depressed beacuse I miss them already.

I thank God every day fro being a Pearl Jam Fan. They're the soundtrack of my life. :D

    "can't find a better band...."
  • I knew that Argentina would be great...people are very passionate about rock there, way more than Brazil. Though the crowds are too wild for me there the atmosphere is amazing! I've been to 2 concerts in BA, one was a great experience, the other not so much (got crushed by the crowd and local security), but I love that city anyway.

A concert in South America is something EVERYONE should experience at least once. You'll never forget it!

Congrats to all argentinian fans, you make us jammers proud!

I don't understand why you attend Pearl Jam shows in the United States if the crowds are that bad. I'm pretty sure we know what a rock concert is; everyone reacts differently at a show.

Congrats South America! You guys are getting some amazing shows!

I think you are totally wrong saying that people in Argentina are more passionate about rock than brasil
    But thats your opinion.....

I watched some youtube vídeos and i wish i was there cuz the crowd was great!!! Congratulations !!
I just dont agree with your opinion....

We got 5 concerts all of them sold out very quickly, and Morumbi concert (sao paulo show 2) we got 70,000 people!

Argentinians are better than us, that is a fact, but Rio de Janeiro's show was great and the setlist, in my opinion was better... Only who attend in both shows can tell wich one was the best until now in south america tour...

Have you seen the size of Argentina compared to Brazil? I'm a proud brazilian and love to tease argentinians but that Argentina has a bigger tradition with rock is a fact, not just me saying...have you seen the amount of Roger Waters concerts they are having?

I'm not saying that the people in Brazil that ARE rock fans are less passionate than argentinian fans, I'm just saying that from the size of our country we could have a bigger rock scene like in the US or Europe, but we don't. You know what kind of music is mainstream here, come on! and is not rock'n'roll.

Anyway, South America in general is a very good place to watch a concert and feel the energy of the crowd.

Just Rio and São Paulo 2 were sold out the day before first show in Brasil. The first SP show was not full, there were lots of empty spaces. Curitiba and POA were full but I don't know if they really sold out, probably yes...

Okay Okay no need to argue who has the better crowd..I'm sure we can all agree that both crowds are "light years" better than USA crowds... :o  So from my point of view, crowds in Brazil and Argentina are equally as awesome and both crowds kick some major ass! :)

I am so happy to have attended one of the shows that remain in the history of the band, of those great dates talked about in the posts and we believe impossible not to have the boot for our collection. Almost all the classics, Alive, Even Flow, Jeremy, Better Man, Black, SOLATD, Do The Evolution, Small Town, Porch and those rarities as Smile, Interstellar Overdrive and the second performance in a concert of Mother (Two covers of Pink Floyd !, how often does that happen ?).
What a great night. I could be ahead, in the line of fire, enduring the pressure at one point made Eddie scare. I could see the happy faces of Eddie, Stone, Mike, Jeff and Matt for the delivery of public, we sing everything and it seems that noted in the radio broadcast by what I read in the posts. I want the boot right now ! Someone has recorded on the web? I hope not to wait so long to see them again. Should come to South America more often and continue to add countries.
Now add Peru and Costa Rica but there are many fans waiting in Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia and Venezuela. Hopefully they can watch them on the next visit !

    I'm so happy, happy, happy ... :D:D:D

I was blessed with the opportunity to be there. I can't explain what I felt and what I'm feeling now when I see videos or when I remember Eddie enjoying the show as much as we did. :)
Every song was amazing but Mother an Betterman made me cry like a baby . Smile was awsome too :!:
Long life to the greatest band of all time, I hope I can see them again in 20 years with my kids.

Pearl Jam, es un sentimiento, no puedo paraaaaaaar
