I LOVE THIS BAND.
We all started the wave right before PJ hit the stage, we all went NUTS! The wave lasted about 5 - 10 go arounds then the lights dimmed and we were off to the races!
I'm sure by the setlist you can see, it was truly, an "On" night for PJ.
Few Highlights:
Mike holding up the card we all signed for him at rockwaters
Ed saying "This is for the collectors" Before busting into Black, Red, Yellow
Ed saying "We only bring this out for special occasions" into Hard to Imagine
The LET STONE SING chant
Stone shaking his money maker for the audience for a while
GO to OPEN THE SECOND ENCORE!
The new song? after N4Y
SMILE!
And lastly, Madeline, the little girl who came up on stage with Eddie, he signed the tambourine for her and gave it to her along with the setlist. Wow.
I think it was growing up by springsteen, it was dedicated to john (?) for his birthday

My highlights
1.) The 10 round wave at the beginning. AS soon as I saw people doing that, I called Oceans as the opener, told everyone around me of cours.
2.) Black Red and Yellow for sure
3.) The let stone sing chant through the entire arena. Eddie was like "STONE SHALT NOT SING EVER!" "Ah shit, he can sing whenever the hell he wants, it's really just up to him." Then Stone walked up to the mic; "I don't really want to sing, I...WANT... TO... DANCE!!" And then he fucking danced for like 2 minutes. Absolutely hilarious.
4.) The way they did Evenflow, Alive and Jeremy (Not really my favourite songs, but got the crowd going."
5.) Rearview Mirror. Just WOW!
6.) Go as the encore opener! I lost it.
7.) The little girl who came up on stage and Eddie danced with her. Very touching.
8.) The fact that a lot of screams of mine will be heard on the boot. (Can't wait to hear Nothing as it Seems)
9.) The whole fucking show.
My complaints:
1.) Security came over and hassled my friends during You Are about a doobie. It distracted from the song, which I shit my pants for when I heard it come on.
It would have been nice if they had been able to fit YLB in at the end, but I think they had to leave. Looked like they didn't want to though.
This boot will be good. No worries there.
As for the show, what can I say that hasn't been said or won't be said. Great great show, as was last night. Tonight was the semi rarities night. Very good crowd, very good performance. My time in Canada has been enjoyable, but 6 AM is close(when you got a 12 hour drive to go home).
Finally my wife and I want to thank Bill D. SO MUCH for trading tickets with us. We had an absolutely unforgettable night. We didn't get a pick or anything, but oh well I got about 100 awesome pictures. I won't post his screen name here as I dont want people to harass him, but one last time, emphatically...THANKS.

However, next time I am doing 10C seats. The crowd down there seemed like they were having a great time compared to where I was.
I think I was in the *whiny voice* "When are they going to play Jeremy" crowd. WOW.
I fuckin' rocked out though. I can't speak anymore.

The reason I love NAIS is because I am a guitar player and Mike's tone, phrasing and the licks he plays are just amazing. People were digging it.

Mike was jumping around and pretty high like it was 1992. I saw moves I only expected to see in stuff like the Pinkpop '92 vid.
Stone also did his famous alternating foot jig across the stage. Pretty fucking sweet.
During the big jam for Rearview Mirror, Stone was on his knees, playing with pedals and slamming his Les Paul strings first into the ground to make some crazy feedback effects.
Stone also got to show off his guitar solos. They sound much better, more alive, and most importantly, like they aren't being played by a 16 year old. I never really thought Stone was much of a lead player, like as in he couldn't do it, but shit, he sure brought it tonight.

She was pretty stunned because the entire arena was pumping their fists at her during the Alive solo/outro. Very cool.
When Ed got back from the second encore break he makes reference to her, and says something like "we're only going to play one more song because it's Melinda's got to go to school tomorrow". Then he looks at her and says something like "Fuck school, you want us to continue right?" He then turns away embarrassed and admits " Shit! I said Fuck!"
