We saw Ace in "The Metropolitan" late night after the show Sunday early AM.
(Only place open for food late night)

Was he drunk? And, did anyone approach him as far as you saw?
Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?
  • u guys really need to get out more and see more shows... this show was not that good... ottawa was a great show... and the 3 day tour in boston was unbelievable.....
I agree. the show was good, environment was amazing and the crowd was great. Show and setlist were good, but you are correct sir, Ottawa was better than Sat. Peace
Tell the Captain the boats not safe were drowning, turns out he's the one making waves.

  • Borgata was unbelievable. The venue was great easy access in and out, small adn the set list was fantastic. I was one of the Toronto bashers because they played all the popular songs like betterman and daughter, from immortality to the end of the 1st set was unbelievable. Not for you was fantastic. No leash, oh well. Great show, new song. Long live PJ
  • Yeah, I went to both shows and thought that they were both amazing, I was front row too...so everything was just fucking perfect. I was looking forward to hearing black, release, and corduroy...but oh well, i'm sure i'll catch it another time. To all of you that are at the philly show right now, YOU ARE SOOOOOOO LUCKY!!!
Sorry is the fool who trades his soul for a corvette, thinks he'll get the girl he'll only get the mechanic...

  • Wow..... simply stated... my 14th show and it was great... Stayed in Brigitine 1 mile down the road at a great hotel ( La Sammana ) .. highly recommend it...
what a venue.... Met Todd McClough and some other guy who plays for the Nets... I thought the crowd was very cool.. not too young and not too old... just right... Harvest Moon ..... thank you....
  • This show was the biggest letdown..... .. the new song was good but if we all dont know it we cant enjoy it...

Are you kidding me? I was at the show saturday night and reading everyone's opinion of the show. I myself think it was one of the best shows since my first (randals island '96). You are entiled to your opinion, but how can you say we can't enjoy a new song if we all don't know it.. That was a brand new effin song that eddie just wrote.. You had the priviledge of being the first to hear it! And can't enjoy that? I am sure if this song ends up on the new cd and becomes a hit, you will be the first one running around saying how great the song is and how awesome it was when you were there to hear it live for the first time...

    Anyway. That's just dumb.

  • during the leash chant jeff says to ed we dont fu@#king know it.
  • We just got back to Kansas yesterday and we're still on a high from the show. We got in a wreck in the parking lot of the airport, and it's still not enough to bring me down from the show. Truly amazing. I was about 10 feet from the stage...about 7 people rows back, but essentially that would be like first row in most other venues. It was crowded, but it was a great time. We met some really nice people where we stood before the show and they helped me look out for my wife, lol. She's really short, so they were very thoughtful in helping her find room to see the stage.

Everyone has pretty much covered the details of the show, but I thought it was pretty funny at the end of "Don't Gimme No Lip" when Stone started sarcastically swinging the mic around. It was pretty funny.

AWESOME show and I just downloaded the boot, so going to check it out. Cheers!

  • so your gonna give me my opinion.. makes a lot of sense... the show was good not great...get over it.. ive seen much better.. its not a big deal.... i was disappointed..the setlist besides the new song and ace was very generic...I was looking for some new variations of some songs... almost everyone paid at least 300 dollars a ticket some paid a lot more.. they could have at least played leash.. and i was not waiting for one song the whole time.. i would have been happy with masters of war or driftin.. oceans.. i can go on

You could go on, but then you'd sound like a whiney bitch. Saying they should have at least played Leash makes it sound like you feel it was owed to you. That's a stuck up, fucked up kind of mentality.

The show was very good. The best? Nah. Honestly, I liked Kissimmee better, as I told my wife, but the small venue made it all the worth while, even if it wasn't the best show in terms of the set list. I got closer than I'll probably ever get, and got to experience them in a small venue. I think that's what made the show awesome for me....I did like some of the set list. Not all, but most of it.....but just the experience of the smaller venue made it worthwhile.

Some of the guys from the Steve and Preston radio show said they saw him in the casino and said great show to him as they walked by and he just mumbled thanks.

Get back to me if you're interested.
  • the new song is awesome.... and the fact that he wrote a few days before - makes it even cooler.... when that song is known by all and on the radio.... we can all be like.... "We were the first to hear it"!

i thought the show was amazing. best i've ever seen by them. they were playing like it was 10+ years ago, and they looked happy and stuff. its like they are glowing or something.

the only thing that i was wondering about, was the 'incident' during breath - was he about to do a stage dive? b/c he would have partially landed on me :D , or was that a fake out? i know something happened with the mic cord, but he's so good at fake outs and trickery!! ha ha.

  • Bob Saget. He was in the VIP gap in the fences stage right. I heard joe piscapo was there too. I looked into the eyes of the devil when I saw Bob. He had frickin' whitish/blue dress shirt on. Come on now!
    Hey brother.
  • Check this...
They had a digital camera, but there were tall people in front of them, so being the nice guy I was, I offerred to take them some pictures. Well I took a bunch and gave them my email. They said no problem we email them to you. Guess what I never say them. Why crush my spirit. We were like 10 feet from stage.

That is not in the spirit of the band or the music. Sorry for ranting, but reading all the posts about show reminded me of the special memories that were promised and taken away.

Yeah, from what my cousin told me, John Stamos was there too. And so was Donovan McNabb. Altho, I don't think McNabb was at the show.
