When me and my RM boys found the Scottish Pub earlier in the evening, there were just a handful of local punters in there. We hung around, then all of a sudden PJ song after PJ song came on the jukebox. Then a trio of Norwegians came in, and we finally got curious and the bar girl told us she's quite a fan but couldn't go to the show cos of work.

She just kept playing PJ tunes, and that just kept attracting more and more people. I called in a few, and so all of a sudden we got critical mass and it just became THE place and gig attendees just kept streaming in. They had this guy play covers on his acoustic, and I've had a few and just started dancing. I guess people joined in and didn't stop until the end :)

No Lolla for me. I'm broke, and need to save up for the next tour, whenever that may be. It'll be an Afro next time.

How about request songs for kopenhaven?
I just feel that breath, hard to imagine, in hiding and betterman(of course). was requests.

First Breath they played it in dusseldorf, and I don´t think anybody was prepared for this one in kopenhaven. And this is the typicall fan wish.

In hiding, It´s just feels like a typicall wish song, and I could really understand this to be a choice of song for this one, since it´s so beutiful.

Hard to imagine. They have played this one only in the first or second encore during hte 2006 tour. In kopenhaven we got this one in the first set.
It´s like Man of the hour in Milan , the typical first encore or second encore song, but in Milan(as a girl on the board wish the song for her father) it played in the first set.
    2006 Paris, Prague
    2007 Munich, Katowice, Kopenhaven, Nijmegen

Ha. Yeah, imagine someone, anyone getting emotional at a Pearl Jam concert or related fan gathering. Buncha weirdos. Right, Hinn?

Pffftttt, me getting emotional has nothing to do with the 6 guys playing music on stage. Totally different story.

Greatest show ever. I can not believe we got Love reign and Light Years. Amazing.

    A bit off-topic, but I don't think it actually deserves a whole thread so here goes;

At The Who's concert at Roskilde on saturday, Pete mentioned something with Eddie Vedder and a couple of other very good friends of him, and that they had said that Roskilde was a great place to play or something along those lines?
Anyone at that concert who caught exactly what he said? Cos it just seemes a bit weird to me that Eddie would recommend Roskilde of all places to play after what happened. It could be, I just want to see if it was correct :)

That comment was a real crowdpleaser :) Don't remember excactly all of what he said. But he did say "I'm real exited to be here. Some very good friends of mine, Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam (Massive cheer!)....... and Wayne Coyne, recommended this place and spoke very fondly of it. We are honored to finally be here"

BTW That concert really saved my festival. Along with Muse and The Arctic Monkeys, that show made it all worth while. All the mud, the shitty weather, the wet clothes and the complete dissapointment of Red Hot chilli Peppers. In my 12 years on the festival I have never experienced worse weather and such a crappy concert ('cept one that is) as the peppers. So a huge thank you to Townsend and co!!

aha, now I remember! I just heard "My good friends Eddie Vedder...", and then my friends around me were all like "oh my god, he's gonna come out and play with them!!", so I was busy trying to tell them that I didn't really think that would happen and wasn't completly focused. Would've been great though :) How cool!

Yeah, only reason I stayed after thursday (our camp was floating around in the mud and rain) was The Who, and my god - it was definately worth it! :D amazing concert. Completly overwhelming. Too bad Chili Peppers was so dissapointing, cause great BigBang, The Who and Red Hot concerts on the same night would've really made that the day of the year. Thank god Pete & co did a great job :D

Great festival other than the weather, and a lot of not-so-good concerts.
See ya at Roskilde '08!..? :D

    Sorry for interrupting the thread.

Ed holding Ida's hand. Methinks he's enjoying the moment a little too much- she's 17 and he's married!
