I thought Toews had a decent game, some shots on goal, and a lot of battling in front of the goalie to get the puck. The defense looked shaky at best last night. I'd bitch about the no goal call, but this is not a Redwings thread. :nono:

Toews did have a decent game Monday, but he has to start scoring goals. Plain and simple. 3 goals in the last 30 playoff games just isn't good enough.

HUGE game tonight...I think the Hawks come out flying and take an early lead.

the hawks need to back off and start playing their game. theyve fallen into the hands of babcock's plan and have found themselves down in the serious

im going to gaurentee a hawks win today. book it

Toews is playing like a complete asshole right now. 3 straight penalties. What the fuck.

Agreed. Being pissed and being aggressive is one thing, but he's playing stupid right now! :x
This game could be 2 or 3-0 right now. :x

Yep. Detroit was so sloppy early in the game and the Hawks didn't take advantage. Hit a couple posts, but that excuse is getting old. Put the fucking puck in the net. I still can't believe Toews took 3 straight penalties. He was playing so stupid. And the power play???? Words can't even describe how bad it was. It's time to put Leddy out there running the point. He's the only D-man that can carry the puck into the zone and set it up. This dumping it in around the boards shit obviously isn't working.

Way to bounce back. 2 power play goals and Toews even scored!!

Take game 6 in Detroit and I feel great about a game 7 at home. Fuck Detroit.

Amazing what you can do when you dont commit 3 penalties in one period. ;)

Yep. Makes a little bit of a difference. Great game all around. PK was great as usual and finally making something happen on the PP.

IMO it all came down to them actually skating and moving around the puck...as opposed to watching and dumping the puck in.

Impressive 3rd period ... Except you could have done without the drama of Hossa taking that penalty

I thought Chicago was toast down 3-1 ... and even down 2-1 last night, the hawks didn't look very good in the 2nd period ... whatever was said to fire up the troops worked ...

    i love game 7's! :corn:

i was hoping for crawford's sake that game didn't end 2-1. he has played so well all season and all post season, he doesn't deserve to spend the offseason thinking about that knuckle puck and all of the abuse he would have taken from hawk fans.

Yeah, that would have been terrible if that was the goal that sent the Hawks to the golf course. Thankfully it wasn't. I'm nervous already just thinking about this game 7.
