    I am more of a casual Soundgarden fan and thought it was good. One of the friends I went with is a big Soundgarden fan and he thought it was awesomely great!

    Yes,loud is definitely the word. I had earplugs in and my ears were still ringing when it was over. My wife wore no earplugs and her quote was "I think my ears are bleeding after that one".

    I liked it a lot. I'm a midway Soundgarden fan, and I was very happy with the setlist. I'm glad they didn't play "Black Hole Sun" or many of their other singles/hits (if I may be a snob for a moment! ;) ). I will say that Chris's voice was much better when he stayed down in the mid to lower registers. After all these years, he just can't get up there as much as he used to (which is to be expected for sure).

    All in all, it was a great show. Matt was on fire. Chris is an underrated guitar player. Definitely worth my money.

    real glad i went to that r.e.m. show- not that it was a question for me to go, i love r.e.m. and have seen them many times. but we certainly didn't know then that it'd be their last tour. plus modest mouse AND the national? duh.
