    It was really, really great, for a couple reasons. For one, I had heard about a recent show in Austin, TX where the crowd wouldn't shut the fuck up, and Dave eventually walked off the stage. Given what's happened at the height of his popularity and what I saw at previous shows (people constantly screaming "I'm Rick James, bitch!" and non-stop TV show references), I was legitimately worried that the crowd wouldn't let him do his thing. Also, I know he's been doing this "no material" thing for a while now, and I thought that with such an open canvas, it might invite people to yell out, OR it just might not be that funny.. So I was a little leery of what might be in store. But having seen him twice before, I know he can be fantastic, so we were going no question.

    I was pleasantly surprised. The crowd was extremely well-behaved; the crowd even self-policed when some jackass would yell something out (wish people could've done that for EV, right?). And Dave's set was awesome. You could tell he was winging it mostly, and it came off hilarious.

    ALSO...the guy sitting next to us was wearing a red PJ shirt. Of course we talked, and I found out his name is Scott and he IS a 10c member, but doesn't post.

    So...if you're reading this Scott, great to meet you!

    Andy, I give the show a solid A/B+. Worth my money, got some really hard laughs out of it (a hippie strip bar called "Strippies," tricking a groupie expecting sex to come home with him so that she can babysit his kids while he has sex upstairs with his wife), and it was great for the spontaneity of it.

    we're driving out friday so it's a no-go. would love to see glen (had to miss him at the ev show- and our 6th row tix- for a wedding, and only saw one of his two sets at pj20) but not enough to make it a race to missoula!

    never got into bts.
