    I'm not a huge Hold Steady fan. Some of their stuff is okay. But I stumbled onto this and thought it was cool. A little reference map to Minnesota nods in their songs...

    I'll have to send this to a buddy of mine. He loves the Hold Steady. I've never really found them all that interesting...

    I'll have to send this to a buddy of mine. He loves the Hold Steady. I've never really found them all that interesting...

    I can't stand their lead singer's voice. He sounds like Bobcat Goldthwait (spl).

    real glad i went to that r.e.m. show- not that it was a question for me to go, i love r.e.m. and have seen them many times. but we certainly didn't know then that it'd be their last tour. plus modest mouse AND the national? duh.

    Saw them at Rock the Garden last year. My friend and I just laughed the whole time that there was a song about "Southtown" mall. There may have been a few beers that instigated that :think:

    Had no luck with the Chicago tix.

    Really hoping for a MN date. We haven't had a proper, full-length PJ show in a decade :(

    You know what though? I have a feeling about the fall dates. I think they will be (a) similar (numbers-wise) to 2009, (b) hit lots of classic cities (i.e. NYC, Boston, LA etc), and (c) hit a fair of amount of places that we might not expect.

    I'm not just saying this to be cordial either, I think Texas, Minnesota, Colorado, Iowa all get dates...its just a gut feeling I have. There's no doubt that there will be the big coast shows, but I think they'll spread the love a little bit.

    I agree! Plus this has to be the most persistant "play here" thread on the board! How could that not be rewarded!

    Are there Any 10c members from Minni that have Twins tix? Family of 4 driving from Detroit for the Saturday June 15 game. looking for decent tix at a good price. Willing to pay with beer if needed. Thanks if any one can help.
