Fuck yeah! Start things off with a two day weekend at the Gorge, then back to work for a week, then take an entire week off catching a run of shows through MN, WI, and ending their Midwest leg with a two shows in Chi Town.

Give it up for the WIld! Great to see some pro hockey again. The hometown crowd seems to have given the boys a warm welcome. Hope they keep this run going against the Predators tomorrow!.


Also it sucks to hear about Cheapo. I agree that they should've used the bigger store, but I assume that costs more too. I just hope this isn't a step towards Cheapo going away.

I dunno...CD prices were/are sky-high there. Many recently released CDs go for $9-$10 used now. As for the vinyl location, sure I shopped there a couple of times and you are spot on about the lack of parking, but from what I do remember, there's an awful lot of used product that just sits collecting dust. Did they mention anything about Applause making the move across the street? Store space really will be limited if all three spots are consolidating. They're a national chain anyhow, so I'm not too invested in them as I am the Electric Fetus or Treehouse.

There's always the Uptown location or Eclipse Records in downtown St. Paul if you need your vinyl fix on the east side of the TC. I love shopping at Eclipse after work.

Let's see...2006 type tour? Tour with MMJ? Chicago shows? They did 60+ shows that year, about half of which were US shows, and a good chunk of the US shows were with Tom Petty.

That would be pretty damn cool...

It's looking more and more like PJ at Wrigley...based on the tweets.

But...I do NOT think that precludes an MN show...at all. I just want to see a full tour!

i'd say the wrigley "news" is more promising than not for a minnesota show but if there is one i sure hope they announce it at the same time (or at least have tix go on sale at the same time).

Yeah definitely. I do think that the Wrigley stuff, assuming its what we all think it is (a show or two), will be part of a bigger tour. I just think they haven't played the US as part of a broader tour in a while, and I think the band knows it.

5-6 stores in what seems to be a loose business partnership across three states hardly makes cheapo a national chain. by that extension, the fetus is no better as they are a part of cims, which has like 80 stores under its umbrella.
