I'm actually from MN myself so would definitely think about a trip back if they play late summer next year. Was at night one of Tom Petty and PJ. Both were fun but really need a full PJ show now. Xcel Energy Center is definitely a nice place for concerts. Screw the Target Center. Although Target Field would be interesting...
They could play the Walker Art Center. The "Rock The Garden" festival there this year had My Morning Jacket there and MGMT last year.
Pretty awesome venue right near downtown Minneapolis in a beautiful museum/park.

How about another St. Paul venue? The Fitzgerald Theater is named for Minnesota native son, F. Scott Fitzgerald, is allegedly haunted (by a former stagehand named "Ben" and a performer named "Veronica"), and is home to "A Prairie Home Companion." Chris Cornell played there this past year too!
...with a capacity of 1,058, this might be more of an EV venue, but it would be awesome to see Pearl Jam there!

1998 the crowd goes apeshit after a fuckup. crowd was nuts in 2003. in 2006 the 1/2 petty crowd even got into betterman. this town treats this band right.

let's not forget that pj stuck it to us in 2009 with their short set at target center for the target corporate meeting. they all were in town and didn't even do a proper show! c'mon man!
1998 the crowd goes apeshit after a fuckup. crowd was nuts in 2003. in 2006 the 1/2 petty crowd even got into betterman. this town treats this band right.
