    just turned on PJ Radio to get me through the afternoon at work and low and behold, I'm listening to the Memphis show! ahhhh such good times. Only Z and I went.. can't wait to do it again

    Foo Fighters are coming to the X on 8/22/15.

    I think I'm coming to the realization that I think they're just OK. They've got some great songs that I love, but on the whole, I'm not a huge fan. Dave Grohl's got a great rock voice and I can certainly respect the legacy, but I don't know. "Meh" was my response when I read that yesterday.

    I thought the last FF show in 2011 was great. It is cool to see that Royal Blood will be opening so we'll get to see them play again. The show they did at Mill City was really fun, and they sounded great. I just wish they had more material to play, but all in good time.

    Fell out of love with the foo fighters around 2005.

    To me, and this is just in my opinion, it's just a bunch of middle of the road rock with pointless screaming. Also, just an observation, why are so many of their songs titles cliches or idioms?

    I think a lot of people are picking on the sameness and mediocrity of the band.

    no kidding! stupid NY reporter only asked one person and it was a MN born heiress (who probably no longer lives here and the salad just happened to be something her grandma made every year, thus making it a staple). That reporter should be fired for not doing their due diligence of getting a larger opinion. He apparently came out in response saying that it was found as a staple in the 1950's Lutheran cookbooks.. tried to spin it versus apologizing and admitting he should've talked to Minnesotans.

    I love the Foo Fighters. Their latest album is fantastic. Back to song writing and Grohl pumped the breaks on his screaming. More singing. Aces in my books

    I'm going to have to agree with ya here Vant. I'd definitely say I'm a fan of the Foos, but the more I listen, the more I feel that it truly has become "middle of the road" rock. I do however think they've written some of my favorite pumpy jams - the one-two punch of "In Your Honor" and "No Way Back" is my favorite. And I like the screaming. However I don't feel they make great albums as a whole. I put them in a category like Red Hot Chili Peppers - really really great hits, but the album tracks in between seem to be just filler.

    I guess that's a very "middle of the road" position for me to take haha. "They're good, but not that good."

    Agree. Some really good stuff, and then a lot of "meh" stuff. Given that, the line-up for tickets thing is a definite deterrent for me going to a show.

    I meant to go see American Sharks with C.O.C. and GWAR tonight at Skyway Theater, but got sick instead. Sucks, I bet that show will be awesome.

    Skyway Theater is a terrible, terrible venue. It's in an old strip club. Gross for one, but the sound, set up, stage, decline of the floor...just bad.

    Haven't purchased St. Paul yet. I'm waiting until a few days from now when they are all up then I can do it in one CC charge. I'll be getting Lincoln, Memphis, Moline, St. Paul and Milwaukee.
