Just read that. Weird...just watched a video of him meeting Koko the sign language gorilla.

Not a big fan either, but still. Sad stuff. He had just been at Hazelden for treatment.

First Phillip Seymour Hoffman and now Robin Williams. Can we trade any one of those for a couple kardasians?

Is it weird that Bridge School lineup hasn't been announced? What are the chances of PJ tacking this on to the end of the tour??

i grew up watching robin williams. from mork & mindy to good morning vietnam to dead poets society to aladdin to the birdcage to good will hunting to what dreams may come, and on and on and on, this dude has been making me laugh or cry my entire life. i am saddened, and even moreso by how it went down. i never met him nor have any personal connection to him, but i feel the loss.

I hear ya Slash! Watching Mork & Mindy is one of my absolute earliest memories. According to my parents, I would crack up at "Nanu Nanu" when I was a baby. His comedic genius will always hold a spot with me - whether it was movies, stand up, interviews, whatever. It's just a damn shame!

Nice reference. "What Dreams May Come" is a great movie if you haven't seen it. Looking back on his catalog on IMDB, I believe some of Robin's best work were his more serious roles rather than his comedy. Or maybe that work just stands out because his comic effect was so outstanding.

    Good will hunting was solid.

Check him out in One Hour Photo and Insomnia. His performance in both are fantastic. These films are often forgotten when talking about him.

Absolutely fantastic in these films! Two of my favorite movies ever... not just of his movies, but two of my favorites in general. His versatility in film was exceptional!

I met a friend at the Amsterdam on Monday night. During a conversation with one of the bar keeps the topic of the preparty got brought up. The bar keep stated that they (Amsterdam staff) are pumped for the event and have appreciated the plugs on social media they have been getting.

super excited that the amsterdam seems to be balls out for this. i have absolutely no reason to think the whole thing wont be a huge success, but with me there's always that nagging feeling of 'will people show up?'. you never know until it happens. but so far so good.
