    I recently watched Lord of the Rings. I watched them completely out of order and skipped every chapter having to deal with Frodo and Sam. So, all in all, a pretty good viewing.

    I read the Hobbit with my boys (7,9, &11) and now we're on to The Fellowship of the Ring. The books are great! The movies are o.k. Always wonder why they leave out good things and add other unnecessary stuff?

    Honestly...the confrontation at the top of the wall between Gandalf and the King of the Ringwraiths...amazing in the book. Vaguely explored in the movie.

    Yeah, it's surprising how they chose to leave out important, relevant parts from the books and exaggerate other parts. I suppose that happens every time that a book is turned into a movie. Either way, my kids are really enjoying the stories!

    The CSNY one? I'll have to check it out. I never loved their stuff like I do NY's or the Springfield, but I'll give it a whirl.

    As far as modern rock goes, I haven't had a lot of time to research anything, but royal blood is catchy and rocks.

    I fall back on older stuff a lot. Been listening to some live led zeppelin and the Woodstock 1969 box set in honor of its 45 year anniversary this past weekend.

    Completely fall back on old stuff. I'm still into finding out newer stuff, but it's easier to look back and discover gems (they're tried and tested for decades) than it is to pick out a newer band and find something you really love.

    I think that's bullshit, Vant. New or old. What's it matter? If you find something that triggers something in you, that's all that matters. Granted, I don't listen to much of the newer stuff, but I dont think the level of difficulty is any different.

    Watching my boot of 2012 Missoula bump. Also, sent letters to Amsterdam's distributors today in hopes they will donate some kegs and/or some bottles of gin,rum,vodka,whiskey. Josh said he won't do any drink specials that day unless we get something donated. Lame, but worth a try.
