What 3 rarities would make your night perfect?

    1) Brother
    2) Undone
    3) Of the Earth

    1) Gone -- not played too much after the initial Avocado rush
    2) Rival
    3) Whale Song :-)

haha.. too easy, yes. i should've made the disclaimer "only one member from any band.." to prevent basically having a mash up of one or two bands. ;)

    aaaand GO!

without thinking too hard (it is friday after all) and only one member per band/artist

    vocals - jim james
    guitar - david gilmour
    keys - page mcconnell
    bass - john paul jones
    drums - carter beauford
    cowbell - gene frenkle

a mix of guys who i think would be comfortable playing to each of the others' styles and would be able to create something interesting as a group.

haha, you're welcome! The brief time that he was a Twin, I got to participate in the "Lewwwwwwww" as well. Then later in life, I upgraded to "BRRRRRRUUUUUCE" when I went to my Springsteen shows.. and now I get to say "BOOOOOOOOOOOOM" this October!

Vocals/Frontman - Robert Pollard (Guided by Voices)
    Drums - Brann Dailor (Mastodon)
Guitar - Stephen Malkmus (Pavement, Jicks)
    Bass - Les Claypool (Primus)
Keys - Paul Shaffer (CBS Orchestra)
Backup singers - Tegan and Sara and Kim Deal

Also...this would be the worst band ever. These players have no connection in style, and this would be an awful mish-mash-money grab of an all-star band. This band would NOT work. Gimme a break, it's da weekend! These are my favorite individual players that came to mind... and Paul Shaffer.

A fan did a painting...I believe she might have even done two. The pictures she posted on the Facebook page for the St Paul preparty. It is like a portrait of Eddie's face with different lyrics spewing out from his mouth. If I am able to post a pic on here, I will try and copy it so you can see what I'm talking about.

All star game on the horizon. PJ, please check out Target Field during the game. Gardy will give you a tour in October when you arrive in MN.

Lord knows the Twins won't be playing any games in October. Hahaha.

Seems silly to spend all that money, I if they're only going to use the building 9 or 10 times a year. The web site says they want to host high school and college games. And attract an MLS team.

I'm sure they'll find other events to host there.

Maybe that coveted PJ, Soundgarden and temple of the dog show can happen there. Hahaha, probably not, but what the hell, I can dream. :-)
