  • I've had the opening riff of Mind Your Manners stuck in my head all day just going over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

    No complaints, though

I would hardly call being frustrated while practicing "being an asshole". Especially when it sounds like the clip was edited/taken out of context. Not only this, but he apologized like a professional and took his lumps. 4 years ago.

(Allegedly) beating your girlfriend - now that's stupid. It's sad these guys make violence their profession, and have the inability to leave it on the field. I doubt that's even possible considering the rap sheet some of these players have.

    ...I still want slipper cleats...

It must be a sign PJ will be coming to Minnesota. :)

I wonder how many more nights the moon will rise before PJ returns.

I had a dream last night that i was on stage with Pearl Jam at a concert.. lets hope that dream comes true in the new year! (in the same dream, i also found myself hopping into a lake to swim laps because Eddie was doing it and I was trying to mingle with him, like "oh, you do this too?") .. then my alarm abruptly went off and i tried to snooze more and get back to the dream, but it didn't work :corn:

Bump in honor of the family dog who had to be put down last night. Watching something you love die before your eyes is so painful.

sympathies to you. I've had to do that very thing with my own dog (which was the family dog, but she was MY dog). I still remember it very vividly, and that was 12 years ago!

aw, sorry to hear that. i'm sure it was the right thing to do. my thoughts are with you.

i'm a cat person (i love dogs, too, i just won't ever have one) and have had to put 2 of them down over the years. the first one was old and had a good life, so it was a little less upsetting, but the second one was only 5 and we had no idea what had happened to get to that point. the vet even offered and paid for an autopsy because he was curious, and that was inconclusive. that one sucked hard. he had one of those awesome personalities that you just don't see as often in cats. watching him pass was one of the hardest things i've had to see. but i'm glad i was there for him.

Sorry to hear that e-flow82. I am also a cat person, and I really dread the day when we have to cross that bridge.

That would be really rough to lose a pet without reason. Mine was only 5 as well.. but the dang cancer got her (I blame chem-lawn!). Having a pet live a long good life is much better, but even then it's so hard. I have two gals now that are getting up there and I can't bear to think whats going to happen in a few short years. ugggg.. almost makes you think it's not worth having a pet in the first place, but then you realize the good times definitely outweighs the pain of losing them.

Thanks for the condolences. She was a 13 year old miniature schnauzer named Ellie. Very sweet and loved everything except bikes. :-) We have so many pictures, but I'm not ready to look at them yet. Hopefully she is someplace better having a great time chasing squirrels and playing fetch.

PJ please play Minnesota in 2014.
