Let's talk Pearl Jam. What are your show "weird stats?"

sweet. i love setlist nerd stuff.

i'll keep your format since we have a lot in common and i can just save my fingers from typing what you already done did.

    1. Covers - 53 unique covers seen. I saw the last time they played "My Generation" (6/30/98 MPLS, MN). The most covers I've seen in a show is 7 (7 of 24 songs, Boston I, 2004). I've seen all of the Pink Floyd covers they do twice over (and all in one show!). I've seen "Whip It" (once, 1x only), "I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts" (once, 2x total), "The Needle and The Damage Done" (once, 3x total), "Here's To the State of Mississippi" (once, 3x total), "Public Image" (once, 7x total), "Bleed For Me" (once, 8x total), "Driven To Tears" (twice, 12x total), and, wait for it, "Happy Birthday" (twice, 7x total)!

    2. States- I've seen them in 10 states (CA 6x, IL 5x, KS 1x, MA 1x, MN 4x, MT 1x, ND 1x, PA 1x, TN 1x, WI 2x).

    3. Countries - I've seen them in 2 countries (Canada, USA).

    4. Months - I've seen PJ in the following months (May: 3 times, June: 6 times, July: 4 times, August: 2 times, September: 6 times, October 1 times, November 3 times).

    5. Albums - I've seen live: 100% of Ten (11 of 11), 100% of Vs. (12 of 12), 79% of Vitalogy (11 of 14, 3 of which have never been played), 92% of No Code (12 of 13), 100% of Yield (12 of 13), 77% of Binaural (10 of 13), 80% of Riot Act (12 of 15), 92% of self-titled/Avocado (12 of 13), 82% of Backspacer (9 of 11), 92% of Lightning Bolt (11 of 12), and 43% of Lost Dogs (13 of 30).

    6. Rarities (originals, <=10x played) - All The Way (played 2x total, seen once), Bugs (played 3x total, seen twice), Hold On (played 4x total, seen once), Sweet Lew (played 2x, seen once), In The Moonlight (played 2x total, seen once), Education (played 7x total, seen twice), Help Help (played 10x, seen twice), Speed of Sound (played 5x total, seen twice), I'm Open (played 9x total, seen twice), Arc (played 9x total, seen once), Out of My Mind (played 3x, seen once)

    7. Openers - 17 unique openers. The "rarest" opener I've seen is Arc (Fargo). I've gotten Release 5x, Oceans 2x, Why Go 2x, Pendulum 2x, Of the Girl 2x, 12 songs at 1x each (Present Tense, Betterman, Worldwide Suicide, Interstellar Corduroy, Last Exit, Severed Hand, Hard To Imagine, Long Road, Wash, Elderly Woman, Sometimes, Arc).

    8. Closers - 8 unique closers. The "rarest" closer I've seen is All Along the Watchtower (Bonnaroo). I've gotten YL 10x, RITFW 7x, Alive 2x, Indifference 2x, All Along the Watchtower 1x, Kick Out The Jams 1x, Porch 1x, Baba O'Riley 1x.

    9. Seats - I've been all over. I think I tend to get Mike's side.

    Seats:
Got the sit on the player's bench at the United Center. I brought my cousin who was stoked because he's a huge hockey fan. We put our beers in the wall where the player's put their gatorade. It was fun playing with the door and pretending we were jumping over the wall onto the 'ice'.

The thread will live on as there are Midwest fans who want them to come back again. Give us a show and we'll make you glad you came, PJ!!!

It's already been updated from 2011, 2012 and into 2013. It's more of a "Minnesota PJ fans" thread now anyway.

It was ratified at the bi-weekly Tenclub meeting. If you check the agenda for November 2013, it's there in section B, subsection 3, article D.

All this was in the orientation.
  • Fun Fact (Stat) for me is until the Wrigley show, I had a different opening song for every show I went to.

STP 03 - Of The Girl
    STP 06 - Last Exit
    STP 06 - Interstellar Overdrive - Corduroy
    PJ20 - Release
    PJ20 - Wash
    ATL 012 - Why Go?
and then Wrigley 013 - Release (Again). Broke my streak, was a little bumed they didnt play Long Road or Hard to Imagine given the lyrics and the circumstances. Oh well.

So, do you guys believe this June Amsterdam date is real? It was on the official Ziggo Dome website, apparently in error, but that seems to me like the most concrete evidence so far of a summer Euro tour...

Yeah last summer's Euro trip was the best trip I've taken yet in my life. Can't see myself doing it again, but I'll wait for a MN date with the rest of you!
