so, record store day is tomorrow. who's going out, and what'll you be looking for?

tops on my list is the r.e.m. unplugged boxset. if i don't end up with anything else but that, i'll be happy; if i don't get that, i'll be one sad panda.

I was going to go until I realized that I had a volunteer thing tomorrow morning.

I'm a little burnt out on RSD. It is fun, but I haven't been blown over by any of the releases in the last few years. This year, there's actually some cool hardcore/metal I'd like to get, but nothing I'm going to change plans for.

    Good luck!

I'm going, but I'm not going to be standing line.

Would like to grab the Soundgarden set, Drive By Truckers, Springsteen, and the Civil Wars.

Would like the REM set, but with it retailing at around $85-90 I'll probably just buy the download on iTunes next month.

I'm going to mosey out for RSD. Not going to stand in line or anything. But I'm looking for a specific release.

Butch Walker is releasing a live single and I was at the show. Gotta have that one, righttttt?

PJ can redeem their MN cred by doing a three hour in store performance at the electric fetus. :-D

Here's my record store day activity:

    -Went to fundraiser. Wore bowtie.
-Stopped at Fetus. What a zoo. Picked up Buried Alive's "Death Of Your Perfect World," put it back down. Saw the Brian Jonestown and Grateful Dead albums, put those down too.
-Went to Milio's and Zipps (for sandwiches, beer and wine).
-Fell asleep on the couch watching the Twins.
-Read on Lost Dogs that lots of people are looking for the Grateful Dead and Brian Jonestown Massacre albums.
-Thought about going back out. Fell back asleep.
-Woke up and read about NY's RSD release on Third Man. Tried to buy online. It was sold out.
-Bought bootlegs in PJ shop. Calgary, LA2 2013, and repurchased Jazz Fest 2010.
-Beer, redoing iTunes until the Wild game.

I heard the black angels RSD release has a download code, so I may pick that up tomorrow if it is still in stock.

I try to avoid surging crowds like are sometimes present on RSD. Almost getting trampled to death at wrigley was enough for me.

I bet there is a lot of record flipping going on related to RSD. Too bad that fans have to pay such high prices.

Remember a year or two ago when Ed's ESD release had Love Boat Captain recorded live in Minneapolis, Minnesota? We're still around, Ed andPJ!!!

    Here's my record store day:

Woke up. Didn't feel like going out.

Thought about it over a cup of coffee.

Dusick text me asking if I had picked up the Butch Walker 10" I wanted.

    I said no

He told me he'd buy it for me.

    RSD over.

Spun it earlier. Sounds like the Boss.

It'd be awesome if the Boss stopped in the TC. Went to night one the last time. Somehow score 10th row side of stage tickets. Kick ass time.

Roy Wilkins is a total dump. Saw Ween there a few years ago. My first and probably last show there
