Don't think I can do hostels. No way I'm I living all my PJ goodies there on the road. A motel or a hotel with a key nobody else has access to my room other then the manager running the place would be great.

I am a very very low maintenance traveler... I really don't need much.
My one concern would be safety however (obviously).
I don't really care what a place/hostel/motel looks like but I just don't wanna get myself into a dangerous situation ya know? especially since im a young-ish female... :?

Safety big time!!! Plus close to the venue would be a treat. I shop so security would be great to have when traveling on the road.

I don't do hostels either unless I have a private en suite room...often you can get hotels for a decent price. Premier Inn are some of the best beds I have slept in, and you can get them from £19 a night sometimes.

    O really?!

O yes :D:D I think the one we all stayed in in Belfast was like £29 a night or something daft.
Get the Premier Inn mailings, they give you advance warning on the room sales, discount codes etc...

  • I traveled to dublin last year and caught the show there. If you only choose to do one show and opt to do more traveling, don't tell pearl jam fans; I got so many lectures that I should have followed them around.

  • I've done it with a group of gals that love PJ like me ;) We went to Italy. It was so worth the trip to see them and get to travel lot's of cities in Italy.
Go with a group of people so it will be cheaper for hotel and try to go to cities/countries that are closed by for easy transportation. Try to plan for sight seeing as well. It will be a cool experience for you. If you decide to go, Enjoy the trip and PJ :P

Fare from NYC-->London or Dublin was around $750-$800 for October when I bought in August. When I looked earlier than August it was around $1,200

So it can vary, you just have to keep monitoring and when you see a fare you can live with, you buy it and don't look back.
