  • I learned that Detroit is the biggest Hell Hole on planet Earth.
    What a fucking dump!

When I die, if I have to make a choice. Spend eternity in Detroit, or spend eternity in Hell?
    Ill take Hell.

    I was in a $180 a night hotel.
Priceline gave it to me for $100.
Every other single building on the block was abandoned, out of business, boarded up.
    Nice..Thanks for the scenery!

    $180 a night room
Elegant steak joint at the hotel charging $30-$50 a plate..
Yet the surrounding area looked like a nuclear bomb had been dropped.

The $0.75 public transportation was nice.
It took me 5 minutes to get from the venue to the hotel.
And I only had 536 bums ask me for a cigarette.

If I stay in the burbs, then all of a sudden transportation to the show becomes an issue. We figured we stay a half mile from the venue, check out the steak joint in the hotel, and we have no problems. Little did we know that the surrounding area looked like something out of "The Road Warrior" movie.

That it's normal for weddings in Wisconsin to only have beer on the open bar list. :(

BUT when you order a cocktail they immediately ask if you want a single or a double. Dangerous, but fun :D

Oh man I have noooo idea. Let's just say that by 11:00 I switched from doubles to singles...but then when we went to the after party I went back to doubles again :fp: I was out of cash yesterday, each drink was $7(doubles) or $5(singles) including tip, and I started the night with over $100. So somewhere between 14 and 20 something drinks

I learned how to open a beer bottle with a lighter.
The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.
