One of my closest friends who recently moved to STL is holding a pretty great position open at her company for me...it's oh so tempting, but I don't really think I want to move to STL :?

I was in a $180 a night hotel.
Priceline gave it to me for $100.
Every other single building on the block was abandoned, out of business, boarded up.

Its was beyond funny.
$180 a night room
Elegant steak joint at the hotel charging $30-$50 a plate..
Yet the surrounding area looked like a nuclear bomb had been dropped.

If I stay in the burbs, then all of a sudden transportation to the show becomes an issue. We figured we stay a half mile from the venue, check out the steak joint in the hotel, and we have no problems. Little did we know that the surrounding area looked like something out of "The Road Warrior" movie.

Let's just say that by 11:00 I switched from doubles to singles...but then when we went to the after party I went back to doubles again :fp: I was out of cash yesterday, each drink was $7(doubles) or $5(singles) including tip, and I started the night with over $100. So somewhere between 14 and 20 something drinks

And I only had 536 bums ask me for a cigarette.
