Actually, if you read the op you'll see that there's plenty more to it than just this.
But then attempting to simplify the issue by ignoring 99% of the facts presented seems to be your only hope in this thread.

fuck wrote:I actually would not mind a conservative nut job in the White House. you know what? under barack obama, we've had an absolutely shitty time. the wars have continued, the economy is still in shambles, corporate bail outs still going on, health care bill was shit, immigration has not been dealt with, civil liberties nearly non existent. what the fuck has obama done?
oh, let us not forget obama's biggest accomplishment: the murder of the liberal opposition movement which led to a rise in another opposition movement: the tea party. how fucking embarrassing is it that the opposition movement in the U.S. is the tea party? the leftwing liberal movement is dead thanks to BO's presidency. and has he actually done anything decent? no, he hasn't. atleast if a crazy rightwing president took the presidency, the liberal movement would rise again, this time probably stronger than it ever has. people are not going to change things by electing "moderate" pieces of shit like Barack Obama. It's going to take a real people's movement to do anything and so long as this president is still in power, we will keep hearing BS words like "compromise" and "moderate" and all this crap which really means let's see how close we can get to the republicans before they finally say OK. the crazier the man in the White House is, like, say, rick Perry or Sarah palin, the stronger the opposition movements will be and the more radical the change they demand will be. atleast I hope so. anyway that's just my opinion. I'm looking forward to not voting next election. I'd honestly rather stay home and smoke a J
So we're in agreement about one thing.
Obama is a failure.0 -

Perry has been the Gov of TEXAS for 11 years.
How that is LESS experienced than a one term Senator- I do not know.
Your arguments are ones of emotion, and not intellect.
I gotta stop reading your posts now, b/c it's like debating a Tickle-me-Elmo.
All the best, your Highness...
he said less QUALIFIED ... experience or time as governor does not equate to being qualified ... perhaps your inability to distinguish the two is a reflection of your emotional argument and intellect!?
Same thing. I really can't believe you even tried that argument... You usually debate better than that.
Splittin hairs like Bill Clinton. "Depends what the definition of 'is', is."
I'm talkin about EXECUTIVE experience/qualification. There is no comparison.
you had it right in your last post though:
"ignorance and inability for people to think critically is destroying the left and it is pretty much dead ..."
On that, you've never been more right. Haha. get it? "been more right?"
haha,...
It's gonna be a great year.

No candidate is perfect, and I'm sure that Perry and I will disagree on some issues, but turning this economy around is my number one priority, and Obama's philosophies are a failure- he could be President for 100 years and still wouldn't work. They just stifle growth. Perry's desire to shrink government and gov't spending, cut taxes and bolster our strong national defense is what I'll be voting for.
It's just a philisophical difference, not personal.
And you may be right about Alaska- I will look it up- if so, well played.
why would you bolster our defense? a) we have no current sworn enemy state like Russians in the 80s so there is no reason to bolster defense especially if you believe in ending the current wars we are in, and b) bolstering defense and cutting government spending is impossible to do together. you can't cut government spending while bolstering the largest portion of govevnment spending we already do.
next.....
haha. OK Ron Paul. Have some more of that poppy-field creation.
Bolster military. Cut free stuff for gov't tit-suckers. There I just did it.
and Perry will too.0 -

Why do you think your military needs bolstering? What do you feel so threatened by? If I took away all of your imagined enemies today what would your brain do with all that free time?0 -
as long as we are possibly voting for unpopular texans with good hair and a gun, maybe this dude should enter the race as well..."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

actually no if you cut one but add one you are still spending at the same level. and i agree there should be some limits on sucking at the government teet and those expenditures are too high but they are still a small percentage of our government spending.
but i'd love to hear real ideas and not just a general 'cut free-stuff'0 -

Except no. It's not.
You clearly know very little about Perry's abysmal record as governor. He would drive the world into a place that even you don't want to be.0 -
I don't think there's a bigger government tit-sucker than the military industrial complex.
And Parachute, aren't Republicans all about personal responsibility? If so, why is it illegal for me to smoke a joint? It's my choice isn't it, I'm not hurting anybody else.Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Perry in his formal announcement on Saturday:
-"The United States of America really is the last great hope of mankind."
This may be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Why do these guys think people born in this country are so much better than those around the world? It's an ignorant and arrogant way of thinking that makes us look terrible.
Also, didn't he hold the day of prayer because God was the last hope for mankind? And how is the praying for rain thing working out for him? This show, another show, a show here and a show there.0 -

That line was pretty f-ing funny. What is this a reality show? The "last great hope of mankind"? thats priceless.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -

and does that line mean he thinks aliens (or apes) are coming to defeat 'mankind' like in the movies?0 -

If that really were to happen, his plan would backfire because Bill Pullman is the only obvious choice for President if aliens attack.Pick up my debut novel here on amazon: Jonny Bails Floatin (in paperback) (also available on Kindle for $2.99)0 -

woot.I gotta say, that was a good one... I can only say that while traditionally, Governors have had a better record getting elected President than Senators and Congressmen, Waxman- jesus- even Waxman, is technically more experienced and qualified than Obama.
At least he's governed a committee. well played.

Somethin got fucked up in this quote and reply to Polaris-x, and I can't fix it. Im too dumb.Post edited by Parachute on0 -
