I'm not saying Bush sucks. I'm just saying it's not all Obama. I voted for Bush in 2000 (mostly because I partied with his daughters in HS). Once we started invading countries for no reason I changed my opinion.
this is thinking critically ... and kudos for not succumbing to that disease known as partisanship ...
I agree, and you shouldnt have to explain yourself to that rude rant at the top of this page.
Nor can you.0 -
I have a feeling our "Real Life's" have nothing in common.
My nobility? You asked me if I gave all my money away and I answered you.Post edited by ComeToTX onThis show, another show, a show here and a show there.0 -

Why does liking Perry mean abolishing "welfare for everyone"?
Some people here have said that b/c Perry doesn't want some Junior college graduate teacher to instruct Texas's 6 year olds how to put a rubber on a banana- then Perry hates children and wants them to get pregnant.
Ask a Democrat about abortion and you get a 30 minute answer about some 13 yr old African immigrant that was raped and impregnated by her father. (John Kerry in Bush debate)
Why is it always the extreme examples? Just talk real life man. And leave your nobility out of it. It stinks.
Can this be backed up with facts?Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Here's a song by a fellow freak - E.V0 -
Parachute,

So how come Texas' teen pregnancy rate is up 50% and the rate of second teen pregnancies is soaring too? This isn't about teaching 6 year olds about condoms, this is about teaching teenagers birth control and not just shaking your finger at the class and saying "just say no." (because that clearly doesn't work and you now have a LOT of unwanted kids and parents who don't have the resources to care for them... which drives up the tax costs.)Ask a Democrat about abortion and you get a 30 minute answer about some 13 yr old African immigrant that was raped and impregnated by her father.
Funny but I've heard plenty of real-life stories about real-life abortions.
For the record, I'm anti-abortion. I think it's wrong. I don't think you'll find anyone who's "pro-abortion" anywhere. However, it's not my body. And just like I won't let anyone shake their fingers at me, I feel it's my duty to allow others to make that choice for themselves. Why is it always the extreme examples? Just talk real life man.
Don't you wish it was that easy? don't you wish that life were so simple that there were no extreme examples?
Tell me if you ever find that Utopia. I'd love to live there.0 -

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that but I'm not liking what you seem to be suggesting.
For someone who ran blubbering to tattle to teacher to REPORT people calling you a name you didn't like... you might wanna rethink the direction you're taking that.0 -

You posted about Perry's stance on sex ed. I'm referring another member to you for the facts, b/c you seemed to be an expert.
It was meant to foster debate and ideas, of which you had many on this subject. I couldn't find the thread.0 -
I seriously doubt Perry will get very far in his bid for presidency.Post edited by brianlux on"It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

No... that's not it at all. you made up a complete lie about Texas teaching 6 year olds how to put on condoms and suggested that I knew about that. Don't play like that's not where you were going with that. I'm a gay man and I've been directly and indirectly accused or a lot of stuff. I know when it's happening. It was meant to foster debate and ideas, of which you had many on this subject. I couldn't find the thread.
No. It was meant to suggest something very inappropriate. And it wasn't funny.
if you can't back up your own big bag of bullshit, may I suggest you shut it?0 -
i interpreted that post as accusing....i don't need to say what i thought it implied, just so you know you aren't the only one POD."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln
"Well, you tell him that I don't talk to suckas."0 -
if i were a reporter the first question i would ask rick perry is this...
"you have spoken in favor of secession in the past. if you win the presidency, how would you view it if a state decided to leave the union and what would you do about it?"
that would put him in a tight spot. he would have to claim state's right to secede is indeed a state's right, or he would have to fight to keep them in the union. i would like to hear his reply on that."You can tell the greatness of a man by what makes him angry." - Lincoln

When we joined the union we retained the right to go back to being a sovereign nation if we wanted to.
That isn't true but it's the argument he's presented before.
He needs to go back to his 7th grade Texas History class."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -
