Kyle, I got your answer from PBD regarding leaving stuff on the bus when we all go into the show. He and the second driver never leave the buses. When we go into the show, the buses get locked completely. What I think I'm going to do that Sunday morning is have a clip board ready for each bus. We should have everyone write there name down so number one when the show is over, as you get to the bus check your name off the list so we don't leave anybody behind. Second, we can leave the clip boards with the names on them with Donny and the other driver. If anyone leaves the show early for any reason and walks back to the bus they will have to give there first and last name to Donny and the other driver in order to get on the bus. If any of you has any other suggestions to this, please let me know.

As far as the railings go on the deck you are correct, they do not have any! So we need to be really careful! I'm with you, I think I will be up there for a bit but once we get into the "BOMB SHOTS" and the "15 FOOT BEER BONG" I will not be climbing to the upper deck anymore!

Lastly, I have spoken to several of you regarding the tailgate party food. I want everyone's opinion on this before I purchase supplies. Since most of you are flying in and going to both the Saturday and Sunday show and will have little to no time to hit the grocery store I have agreed to pick up stuff for the tailgate party.

I have a great connection at one of the local sausage companies here in Wisconsin. I actually spoke to them this morning. I have the ability to bring enough meat to put on the grill for all 70 people if you all would like me to. I can buy in bulk and this is what I thought of getting. the brats and Italian sausages come 60 to a case so one of each of those. A case of burgers, which are 80 to a case and a case of hotdogs which are 65 to a case.

This is 265 pieces of meat. I know it sounds like a lot, but it is actually about 3.7 pieces per person. Also remember that this is at least 10 hour tailgate party so you will be eating all throughout the day. Also you all know how good any remaining food is going to taste after the show. I'm betting there will not be anything left!

I also have a Costco about 15 minutes from my house and could pick up the rest of the supplies as well. You know, stuff like ketchup, mustard, chips, oh I don't know bottled water, plates, napkins. You guys and gals know tailgate party supply stuff!

Let me know if you guys think this is a good idea. Depending on interest I can figure out how much per person this would cost. I'm guessing between $5 and $10 a piece. If anybody has any suggestions or would like to volunteer to bring anything, let us all know. My plan with this is that we don't end up with a bunch of duplicate items we don't need.

To any of you that are bringing steak and lobster tails, please disregard! :D

Pete, you rule my friend....I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a sausage today ;) (if anyone gets that reference, they're at least my age lol)

Whatever the cost, you're saving us a lot of screwing around. I think you should get a little something extra for all your legwork...
...we are all forever indebted!

For all of you people on Bus # 2. PBD has you guys and gals on the original Partridge Family Bus. He also said the bus called the Black knight may also be available if we want this one instead of the Partridge Bus. I almost have to vote for the Black Knight bus just because the ride home after 12 hours of partying is going super comfortable!

All those on the second bus, let me know which bus you would prefer! here are a couple of Youtube videos of each bus.

Good morning Everyone!

Like I mentioned before, I have offered to pick up all the stuff we need for the tailgate party on Sunday.
I have already had a bunch of you respond that are in favor of this. I am taking the 2 bus lists with all the names on them and putting the word BBQ in red next to your name if your interested. If you're interested in me doing all the shopping(MINUS ALCOHOL  ) pm me or post to the thread and I will mark you down with the red BBQ. I will pick cases of bottled water, vitamin water, or both so we stay hydrated as part of the shopping list. I don't know the exact cost, but am hoping I can get it all done between $5 and $10 per person

The only thing you guys are responsible for is your alcohol. For those of you flying in and staying in downtown, there is a huge Pick and Save Metro market downtown that has a huge liquor department. I called the store yesterday and there liquor department opens at 8 am. Here is the address.

Pick and Save Metro Market
1123 N Van Buren St
Milwaukee, WI 53202
(414) 273-1928

Since most of you are flying in on Friday, and going to both the Saturday show and Sunday show your time is going to be limited for shopping. My advice, I would check into your hotel and take a cab or walk over to pick up any booze your going to want for the weekend and bring it back and just leave it in your hotel room. Coolers and chairs are going to be a huge supply and demand issue. Again, I ask the help of all that are traveling by car if you have an extra coolers or chairs and have some extra room in your car please, please, please bring them to help out with those flying in. For those flying in, some of you should check with your airlines to see if you can check a cooler as luggage. I bet you can. If you can,do it!

Here's the updated bus lists with those that want me to do the shopping. Again, pm me or post to the thread or email me at pdane70@yahoo.com if you want in. I do need to have a good idea no later than next Friday August 26 of who wants to participate because that is the last day I can order all the meat in order to pick it up the following week.

60 brats
60 Italian sausages
65 hot dogs
80 hamburgers

Here are the 2 bus lists

So I was away for two weeks....Last time I saw this thread you were struggling to fill up the first bus...and I come back to THIS  2 full party buses, sausage- and pole fest, PJ20 home brew, bean bag...WOW! Great job Peter! Really, thanks for all the effort you've put into this.

I have a few requests though...For my breakfast, I'd like steel cut oatmeal with flax seeds and throw a few walnuts in there too, some fresh berries on the side perhaps (but skip the black berries, I'm not too crazy about those), a little bit of low-fat milk, and a macchiato. Then for the bbq I really do like a ribeye, maybe with some caramelized onions or wine reduction...nothing too complicated...a few rosemary potatoes...some belvedere martinis...oh! and don't forget the wine! I need a bold, full bodied red. That's all :P

Thanks Peter! I'm so looking forward to this :D

• Hey hey party people!!! Glad I could hop a ride on these magic busses for Sunday. haven't made hotel arrangements yet and was wondering where some of my new party friends would be staying in the downtown milwaukee area -- I'm sure this has been asked and answered; but 22 pages is a lot of reading, lol!!
Are there a few folks staying in the same place downtown that I can look into getting a room at as well?
Anybody looking for a room buddy to help defray the hotel cost?
And lastly, if we're taking a party bus Sunday -- how the hell is everybody going to get to Alpine Saturday?!

Wishing September would get here already -- catch you guys a little later!
