Ah as soon as I saw the party bus it made up my mind to go from here not chicago... It will be great Craic.... Oh there will be loads of Irish whiskey.. Will have everyone swinging from the pole!! really lookin forward to it now and meeting everyone... Oh and seeing the greatest band on the planet:)

Yep, this is going to be one hell of a weekend! I still can't believe we have a 2 bus 70 person tailgate party for Sunday! I just hope all of you that are going to the Saturday show make sure you leave a little in the tank for the Sunday tailgate party to!!!!!!!!

Also,to anyone that is not on one of the 2 party buses and has been following this thread. You are all invited to the tailgate party on Sunday! if your driving in, once you have your car parked grab all you stuff and bring it on over and join the fun!

All of you that are on bus #2, you can now start to send in your payment. As you all know from reading the thread, I have set up a paypal account for payment. If any of you has a paypal account, you know how it works. If you do not have a paypal account, you will need to send me an email to <!-- e --><a href="mailto:pdane70@yahoo.com">pdane70@yahoo.com</a><!-- e --> and I will send you a money request from paypal. The price per person for bus #2 is $35

I got the raw materials yesterday and I'm hoping to make some headway on the build and design today. I'm having a little trouble deciding on what exactly I want to paint on the boards.

Thoughts so far are:

I think for sure the stick man on one board.

Second board I've basically trimmed down to either:

Royal skull picture from a lot of the riot act type merchandise
or
Recreating the Poster from Pearl Jam Alpine Valley 2003 concert.

Thoughts?

I'm also getting quotes today on my personalized bean bags (embroidered logos vs silk screen)

Should be fun. :P

I really can't resist the idea of the 2003 poster, it was singled out in the AMES poster book by Vedder saying, "it is one of the more dignified posters we've put out." It was the first PJ poster I bought and it really got me hooked on gig posters in general. And conveniently enough one of the bubbles in the poster I think would work perfectly for the central hole of the board. I'm very pumped to start the process!
