Right???
Was there any DNA evidence whatsoever that could link her to the crime????
No. DNA or otherwise. I understand people are upset. I was too. But after reading more and more about it, people should be upset at the prosecution. They went to trial with zero evidence. None.
She is still a disgusting excuse for a human being.
But everyone saying "the system didn't work". It did work - exactly as it is supposed to. The burden of proof is on the state and the state failed.
Gimmiesometruth27 pretty much summed it up. They failed to provide a cause of death. Without a cause of death, how can you convict someone of murder? It isn't what you know. It is what you can prove. And they couldn't prove it.0 -

stronger circumstantial evidence?that’s right! Can’t we all just get together and focus on our real enemies: monogamous gays and stem cells… - Ned Flanders

It was circumstantial as well, but I guess there was more of it. Plus the key defense witness pretty much ruined their case - Dr. Charles March.
Regardless, it does bear a lot of similarities doesn't it?DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

I don't think that had anything to do with it. Their wasn't enough evidence for a murderer 1 charge and that's why she got off. The prosecution was stupid to ask for the death penalty when their entire case hinged on emotional stuff like "what type of mother goes out and parties when their kid is missing?" A horrible mother....but no necessarily a murderer. Hell there was a case in cincinnati last year Ryan Widmer and he was found guilty base on his court demeanor acording to a juror...0 -

I know noting about Scott Peterson so I'm not a liberty to comment on his case. As for this Ryan Widmer, I bet he didn't have the whole world watching his case so I doubt the jurors felt compelled to make the right verdict as it pertains to the law. As far as Casey Anthony goes, by law, it was the correct verdict.
Ryan Widmer would have benefited from Nancy Grace obsessing over his case...whatever it was about.2000: Camden 1, 2003: Philly, State College, Camden 1, MSG 2, Hershey, 2004: Reading, 2005: Philly, 2006: Camden 1, 2, East Rutherford 1, 2007: Lollapalooza, 2008: Camden 1, Washington D.C., MSG 1, 2, 2009: Philly 1, 2, 3, 4, 2010: Bristol, MSG 2, 2011: PJ20 1, 2, 2012: Made In America, 2013: Brooklyn 2, Philly 2, 2014: Denver, 2015: Global Citizen Festival, 2016: Philly 2, Fenway 1, 2018: Fenway 1, 2, 2021: Sea. Hell there was a case in cincinnati last year Ryan Widmer and he was found guilty base on his court demeanor acording to a juror...Believe me, when I was growin up, I thought the worst thing you could turn out to be was normal, So I say freaks in the most complementary way. Found out that some of the jurors didnt even have high school diplomas! Shouldnt people listening to forensic science and determining the fate of a defendant be intelligent educated people??? I believe the evidence was clear. The murder weapon was the duct tape. If the murder weapon was the duct tape then common sense tells you she died by asphyxiation. It is the prosecutions job to put all of the pieces to the puzzle together for the jury. It is the jurors job to listen to it. Common sense and reasoning tells you exactly what happened. The defense team managed to create reasonable doubt by having 12 jurors believe it was possible that she covered up an accident and made it look like murder. Who does that?????
