    it's not all about the legal system failing. a 2 year old girl was murdered and buried in a shallow grave and her mom was out clubbing for a month before reporting her daughter missing.

    children are murdered every day. some by their parents, some by other relatives, and some by strangers. i don't see why this case was blown up to be the television circus it was. it reminded me of the michael jackson trial a few years back. yes, it is unfortunate that a two year old lost her life for no reason, but if cnn insists on making such a big deal out of it, then why not do the same for every murdered child?

    you asked who cares and my point is a lot of people care when anyone is mudered whether it gets media attention or not.

    its not her fault that they did not prove anything . and give the jury nothing to work with . It really is not her fault .

    i have to agree with the jury that the prosecution showed no physical evidence leading back to her

    i know i'll take a lot of shots for that...but that's how i see it

    So if Caylee was found with a hole drilled in her head and only one search was found on her computer for how to perform a labotomy that wouldn't be enough for you?

    But stuff like that makes you question the prosecution's case. Just like their botched autopsy. Besides, the prosecution changed their tune from chloroform to duct-tape as the cause of death. Like Jose Baez said, they were just throwing everything out there and seeing what stuck.

    its a shame that the prosecution didn't have any direct proof linking her to caylee's death

    because her attitude and behavior make us "think" she did it

    but that means nothing when it comes right down to a conviction....legally

    and i think that the jury did the right thing
