https://leaderadvertiser.com/news/2025/aug/28/scilip-skatepark-proposal-that-felt-impossible-comes-to-fruition/Evergreen Skateparks built the park within three months and the skatepark has already been open for a couple of months. Jeff Ament, the founder of Montana Pool Service and co-founder of the band Pearl Jam, designed the skatepark. “We’re excited to continue our collaboration with CSKT with the most recent Flathead skatepark in Sćilíp,” Ament said in a press release. “Skateboarding changes lives and we’re proud to know that this skatepark will be a safe community space for generations. It’s one of my favorite designs yet.” 0

             Flathead Reservation Skatepark
A fourth skatepark is now open on Flathead Reservation, progressing Terrence Lozeau’s idea of providing safe, recreational opportunities for the local community. Montana Pool Service worked alongside Terrence to support this goal.
At the park’s opening ceremony, Jeff noted… Skateboarding really promotes that [you] go find your own person, and try some things out, go down different avenues, and be weird and find where you are comfortable. (Read on).

They got pink MPS hats too... grayslide grayslide
Stoked my #GritToGrind book arrived from. Fact and Fiction Bookstore in Missoula, MT …. I am a very big fan of Concrete Skateparks and those who fight hard to make them happen…
Montana and its Skatepark Advocates have done an amazing job at getting Skateparks built throughout the state… @mtskateparkassociation
I am very stoked on all I have seen built in Montana and of the amazing activists, skatepark builders, and supporters who’ve made it happen. Thanks @andrewkemmisphoto @baconmt for sharing this with the world, and @montanapoolservice for being a great advocate and supporter of this movement.
I bought this book because I am looking forward to reading their inspiring stories, AND because we as Skateboarders should always support those who TRULY support our skate family, and their is no better support than permanent skate terrain..
I suggest you all get a copy and support those who support our love for rolling around…
