This "Crazy Marcus" guy (never heard of him) might make these into bootleg artwork if Ed actually decides to release these bootlegs. I really hope this is the case.
Soto (prov, sea2, tour) is wonderful, I'd hang on my wall. But, too much soto in these, not enough Eddie. A really good poster should stand alone from an artist's body of work - leave you guessing who did it. Yeah, you hire these guys on their portfolios, but are they adding to their's or enhancing your brand. Tough call.
Mark5 (Bos, Det, Oak2, Portland) bit off more than he could chew, phoned in Boston and then amazes. Portland is awesome, Oak2 and Det tie ins put those over the top -- ethos of these areas tapped! How do you make 3 of the best, and one of the worst?
Tom Tomorrow (hart), great that they are giving him work still?
Jemaine Rogers (NY1&2), is it the lettering? Is it the slightly cartoonish style? I'm torn on these, like the subject, I want to really like them, but I don't. Not feelin Eddie.
Dabs Mylar (Philly) re above comment cartoonish, sometimes it works. Sometimes. And again, prefer hand-lettering.
Munk One (Chi 1&2, Minn, Sea 1) best detailing and mood of the tour on Chicago but second one starts to fail into cartoony. And the indian is stunning! Best EV poster ever for Sea 1, hits on every point. Epitome of awesome show posters.
John Glomb (St Lou) good thing they got one of the best sets of the tour!
Roland Tamayo (SD) strong execution but something a bit soft about these. I like the darker one, and again, lettering is uninspired.
Chuck Sperry (LB) nice vibe. Bold. Pretty good lettering, nice details. Not jaw dropping, but a definite eyebrow raiser. I like it.
Maxx242 (LA) strong, energetic, bold. Off the rails! Good seal lettering, this totally works, but a few are just a tad stronger.
Emek (SB) too much Emek and very similar to his last PJ poster. I like that better, less garish, and here I rant about hand lettering, but I don't like this, over-worked.
Jordan Buckley (Oak1) Nicely executed. Curious, chop down trees and make ukes?
Probably a stupid question but where do you find the us tour poster?
It was available for sale via the artist on Thursday, but sold out immediately. Your best bet is to look around here, ebay or expressobeans and hope someone has any extra for cheap...
my new tryptichon is now complete
after the tour it will be put on the wall

I didn't notice until today that all the whales are facing to the right, also I've never saw them as a tryp but now that you put them together they look great next to each other!
