I used to swim 7 miles a day. Gave up a few years ago but will be starting up again. I truly believe it is the best exercise that exists. I was also a lifeguard and swim instructor throughout college (and made good money off it).

    7 miles a day? That's a minimum of 4 hours swimming a day, no?

    my new project

    Nice!

I love floating in the pool after I've gotten all hot and tired from riding my bike. It feels like meditation and-or some kind of heaven. :D

yesterday was way nice and stuff. worked out (outside the pool) with my physical therapist; walking, weight lifting, rode some fancy machines and i have no idea what they're called. then i went and swam 2 miles.
went home, ate two tacos and crashed out after poetry time.

this morning i woke up cooked breakfast, ate breakfast, then immediately jumped in a 1 mile swimming carnival hosted by regis and kathy lee gifford. :wtf:

yesterday was badass, a very good day for me. swam 2 miles in the morning. then went back for an afternoon swim where i swam another mile or two. that was a good frickin time. today im swimming a good 2 or 3.
i love this passion for water, im not even there man. wild stuff.

my brother is fast as shit i swear to god. he's an animal, that guy. unbelievable. i swim farther than he does on a daily basis, but what i cannot do is swim faster, that dude is quick and frickin powerful. he's strong as a frickin bull on crack or something, nonnatural type shit. swimming laps with Dut is like swimming next to a boat or something. that dude puts off a wake that throws you around some.

he don't swim no 3 or 4 miles either... but he could in a heartbeat if he elected to do so.

greatness feels like swimming. i am not there stroking out lap after lap while i swim. water takes me some where else, fulfilled, lost and found, captivated, sharing energy with water. i can feel it, bubbles everywhere coming and going. muscle exertion building on adding and burning unwanted
    all in all... water
