I don't know where else to post this, but my family can use as many positive vibes as possible right now. My 42 year old sister has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Unfortunately they found it after it had spread. Starts treatment next week and has an extremely tough road ahead. Fuck cancer.

Damn, WYTM, I'm sorry to hear that. Good thoughts going out for your sister, for you and all in your circle.

But you know what? Don't ever give up hope!!! My cousin was diagnosed with cancer and it already had destroyed his bones. It didn't look good too. He is 40 and already lost his sister. He now is an example for what can happen! Doctors couldn't believe his recovery. So never give up! I wish the same happens to your sister! All the best to everyone who loves her!
Thanks for the kindness. She's a strong woman and we are all focusing on being positive. We've seen some craziness in our lives for sure, so I won't be surprised when she kicks this cancer's ass.
today is my cancerversary....8 years ago today, a doctor gave me the news.
I kicked cancer's ass, tho.

So glad you are celebrating your 8th cancer free year. May the rest of these anniversaries continue to be a big FU to cancer!!
Lost my sister to pancreatic cancer in 2013, she was 54, and it's been a year and a half since my mom had her colon cancer surgery. She didn't have to do chemo. So far so good. She's in her 80's.
I have to go back for a second screening from my mammography. I hadn't gotten one in quite a while, I don't know why, I went for my first one a year early but I've only had one other and have just neglected it for far too long. I'm just not thinking about it because there's nothing I can do. They want to check out my favorite breast, of course. And I have dense breasts so they sent me this whole pamphlet about the risks associated with lumpy breasts. What an uplifting read! I go back in June, see my gyno next week.
And I have my colonoscopy scheduled. Looking SO forward to my first one. I tried to get my doctor to let me do that put your poop in a box and mail it in thing, but he wasn't having it.
So lungs, boobs, colon, cervix in the first 6 months of 2019. And my doctor has more fun stuff lined up. Yay.

on that note, I just put in an LED lightbulb that should still be burning after I burn out.

You prefer one over the other?
My left breast is larger than my right breast (one is always bigger). I have to pay more attention to it with bras, bathing suits - anything it could suddenly decide to inappropriately spread out or pop out of unexpectedly. So it requires more of my attention, and is my favorite despite being the troublemaker.

The left one is James Westfall. The right one of Dr. Kenneth Noisewater.

The bigger one is likely the favorite of all the men you encounter too.

Anyway, you are truly an inspiration @Wobbie .
I'm with you on those, but replace lungs with liver
Fuck cancer!
Not today.
Glad you are here to see 100, Wobbie. We love ya.
