Of course, I'm wearing one too.

    they also sent a "Save the Pooper" plaque with pictures of me in my first and last year that says "First In, Last Out" (a FD thing about going into a fire......I think it's kind of a poop reference too :lol: ) and pictures of people at all the stations wearing the bracelets. man, did that warm my heart.

    as icing on the cake, a fellow SF Giants fan went to Detroit a couple of weeks ago. Giants vs. Tigers. The story has it that a couple of Giants wore a "Save the Pooper" bracelet on the field :mrgreen: .

    You guys are all awesome. words can't express how much your support has meant. I'm going to beat this shit!! kick its sorry, punk ass!! :mrgreen:

    Wow, that's an amazing effort and display of human kindness. You've no doubt surrounded yourself with great people over the years Rob. But, great people attract other great people I think. This was great to read, thank you for sharing.

    Save the Pooper is brilliant....I really had to scroll back a bit as it was the first thing I saw on the thread and I was very confused. So glad you had a great time at EV. Much deserved. I told my son about the bracelet....being only seven, he lay on the floor hysterical for a few minutes at the thought of the writstband....it was so funny to watch. Now he is allowed to say (in private) three things a seven year old usually doesn't get to say
    STUPID as in "Cancer is stupid"
    ASS as in "I'm gonna kick cancer's ass"
    and now he as POOPER! as in "Save the Pooper" ....priceless.

    Perhaps if you PM me, we can exchange bracelets. Sam's is orange with "Superman Sammy" on it....not as cool as the brown Pooper, but he will wear yours with pride! :D
