John Mayer better then McCready?!?!?

So my friend on Facebook is saying that technically Mayer is a better musician then McCready...And he is a high school that plays guitar...let the discussion began! :mrgreen:

    You can probably also find somebody out there that says the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift are better guitar players than Mike. My advice would be to just ignore these people. I will admit I'm not all that familiar with John Mayer's work. I've heard some songs and seen him play on TV a few times, and if what I saw/heard then was any indication I wouldn't say he's all that great. When your friend says "better", maybe he means he likes John Mayer more and not saying he is technically more skilled, because from what I've seen I don't think you can make that argument and keep a straight face.

    John Mayer is actually fairly technically talented. He graduated from the Berklee shcool of music, which is a fairly hardcore place. he, unfortunately, chooses to play sappy pappy crap most of the time. when he jams the blues, he is good. as a musician at least

    Mayer is good....saw him live last year with the lady and had a good time. Great time actually.
    But better than mike? No way.
    But to me SRV is better than Hendrix.
    So obviously I'm lost. Ha.
