TMZ spoke with Dr. Aaron Perlut -- Chairman of the American Mustache Institute and self-professed doctor of "nuclear mustacheology" -- who says he's particularly upset with Hulk's plan to shave ... since he is "seen as a longtime leading figure in the sexually dynamic Mustached American community."
Perlut says, "Not only would the removal of his lower nose foliage cause angels in heaven to die and fall to earth -- as is written in biblical texts -- but it would send a poor message to young people of Mustached American descent who wish to embrace the Mustached American experience." "We do hope that Mr. Hogan, for whom we have great reverence, reconsiders shaving his upper lip shading device as millions of those he has inspired would be greatly let down, leading to mass chaos and deep bouts of depression in the Mustached American community.”
Neither Hogan nor his mustache could be reached for comment.

It will truly be a sad day if The Hulkster goes through with this. I will be saying my prayers and taking my vitamins in hopes that he reconsiders.
We can only hope he will change his mind..but if he does go through with it, I'm sure he will realize it's the biggest mistake of his life... Tom has done it before..but he always comes back to the stache.

Well I'm not a Ravens fan, so I'm not sad that they lost..however I have enjoyed being surrounded by several flacco staches at work the past few weeks...so I will be sad to see so many naked upper lips tomorrow :(

Marc is sitting in his bath one morning and asks his wife, "how would you feel if I shaved off my mustache?" She doesn't think it's a great idea, for the 15 years they've been married, she's never known him without his 'stache. He shaves it off anyway, but when he sees his wife, she doesn't notice, neither do their friends at dinner that night, neither do his co-workers. Marc finally flips out, shouts at everyone, tells them he's tired of their little joke, and what do they really think. His wife and co-workers are appalled, what is he talking about, he's never had a mustache. In fact, he's imagining other things as well, or is he?
As a member of the movement...I made it my mission to encourage as many people as I could to stache it up...
