Don't know why LeBron won't just silence his critics and close out a game. He could've made that shot, and probably would've.

I know LeBron is really talented, and he is a physical specimen there is no denying it, but I really do question his ability to close. I've seen him do it before, but the thing he lacks is consistency. Maybe he's too afraid of being labeled as selfish? Kobe would've never passed that shot, and that's why I'd take Kobe over LeBron in a late game situation. Kobe gets it done, he has a track record of it.

LeBron could use a bit of a Bird attitude too: not giving a shit what you think about him, what he does, or how he plays.

Oh well though, a Utah Jazz win at home against Miami is more than I could've asked for this season. That game shouldn't have been as close as it was though. Jazz were on a roll and lost focus on containing LeBron.

what was with all the streamers...you would have thought it was a game 6 nba championship clinching victory

The Jazz do that with every win.

But if you think about it, that was an important win for Utah. A statement game if you will. My guess is Utah was very unfavored to win that game and were not expected to play as well as they did.

Defeating the team that many expect to win a title? Yeah, that's due for a good celebration. However like I said, that's just the way the Jazz celebrate. I'm not just saying this because I have a bias, but Jazz fans are some of the most prideful in the league. The fans are definitely the sixth-man in SLC.

big win for the jazz, no doub t about i.

if they do streamers for every win, then it makes more sense, but it looks pretty corny on tv.

They can't be the only team to celebrate a win with streamers and stuff.

It's cool though that they've been doing it for so long. I remember being an elementary kid and going to Stockton/Malone Jazz games with my parents and having streamers come down after a win.

    Long live Jazz basketball.

the jazz's thing is cooler since they've been doing it for so long the sixers just started this year. i was at the home opener victory and thought it was weird but figured it was just for the home opener. nope. every.single.win.

he hit every shot from that spot on the floor...it was technically the right play but c'mon shoot it. someone pulled up a stat that LeBron is actually better at buzzer beaters than Kobe (percentage wise) but Kobe just always takes the shot - good or bad.

actually, kobe sucks ass when it comes to buzzer beaters (he sucks ass as a person, too).....but he probably has been the lakers best option. the whole "closer" thing is a myth.

Next two games will be tough. Philly has been slipping lately, but Chicago is on a 7 (correct?) game winning streak. IF, and that's a big if, Utah can win those two games that would be great momentum coming home to play Detroit before going back out on the road to Phoenix.

They're back at .500. The end of the season is a little over a month away... keep the foot on the gas.
