plus, I want to see the young guys and they keep signing has beens.

Devin Harris has played with him before and KOC and Corbin both sat down with Devin to get some questions about him answered and to find out if they truly wanted to sign the guy. A lot of players are saying he's "matured" and has a better presence, attitude, etc..

I am with you, I'd like to see the young guys get some good experience this year. Hayward, & Favors showed some serious potential last season... and now we have Burks and Kanter.

I don't think it's a bad signing, also considering it's a one year deal for not too much money, so if it doesn't work out... they won't have to carry the baggage that long.

Good news about the Jazz though... Okur is finally healthy and is ready to play on day 1, and had been playing in Turkey during his down time... have read that his playing there was just as good if not better than before his achilles injury.

Also, I think Raja Bell said it best:

Bell: First of all, I'm not one of those types of people that tries to judge anybody else or their situation. I don't know that anybody who reads a newspaper or listens to SportsCenter has any perspective on what happened in anybody's personal life. I'm not in the practice of judging people for situations I know nothing about. So having said that, he'll come to this team and I'll judge him for who he is and I think everyone should approach it that way.

Timberwolves looked good in their first preseason game. Kevin Love has shed about 20 pounds, is more athletic, and has definitely improved his jumper. Hit 4 three point shots.

Jazz should trade Millsap for Kevin Love.

I'm coming around on this signing....we're never gonna win shit if we exclude borderline thugs  . He probably has matured but SLC could put him over the edge.

I'll believe memo is healed when I see him on the court  . I heard he was spending plenty of time of the golf course when he was "injured" last year.

:lol: We just don't need batshit crazy Ron Artest, or the gun-slinging Gilbert.

Memo looked pretty good at the free scrimmage that took place on Saturday night, but that was just that... a scrimmage.

I seriously hope he can remain healthy, especially during a shortened season. We could use his long range threat.

    :(

It was unexpected, I had forgotten about it until we were down at the Gateway and heard someone mention it and thought "perfect timing."

I'm surprised you weren't there already! Thought they would've mentioned something in the paper.

    Is this how I can tell I'm a ratfuck? :( :?

Dude, you guys made us look like a high school team. The numbers for the Jazz last night were embarrassing. 23 turnovers?! :(

I guess Corbin was trying out some line-ups, but we looked to be in serious need of some hard work practices.

But, I like Portland, so more power to you guys. I think the Northwest division is going to be strong this year between OKC, Portland, Denver and possibly Minnesota. That leaves Utah left to either make some noise, or just be a bottom tier. Hoping they can bounce back, find their strengths, and get some momentum for the season. Rematch is on Wednesday, SoS!!

Did anyone else catch the Clippers playign circles around the Lakers?

Even though it was preseason, it felt damn good to be watching the Jazz again last night, even if they did play like shit.

A trend that needs to be stopped as soon as possible. How did Hamilton do for a first, pre-season game?

I saw Utah making way too many rushed passes last night.

Another problem I think Utah had last night was too little passing, not enough ball movement. They can't rely on Favors, Jefferson, and Kanter to post-up on every single possession. Players gotta create their own shots, or create some for their teammates.
