Love Steve Nash, always admired his game, and generally I want him to do what he did last night, just not when he's playing the Jazz..... in Salt Lake City. :evil:7/2/06 - Denver, CO

One of the classiest guys in the league. How he hasn't asked for a trade from that mess in Phoenix is beyond me. Their owner Sarver is terrible. He's 38, but with the way he takes care of his body he has a few years left in him. That's the type of guy you would love to see get a ring.0 -

He recently said he is open to hearing the Heat try to recruit him this summer. Whether he signs with them or not is to be seen, but he's done with Phoenix. They've made some poor efforts to build a winning squad around him.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

We should have asked for Metta World Peace instead in the trade, he looks sane compared to Odom now.0 -

I'm going to bet that Odom goes back to his beloved Lakers or doesn't play again.
I'm also willing to bet that if OKC doesn't win it all this year, Fisher (being the sportsman that he is) signs back with the Lakers (or the next projected title winner) in one last pathetic attempt to get another ring on his crypt-keeper fingers.
True to form to LA and Hollywood, the Lakers do have some characters.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

HAHA I know...but this is what bitterness over Odom's stay in Dallas has done to me.0 -

I can understand. Granted he really did have some bad shit happen in his personal life which from person to person, I sympathize, but with that said he never appeared to approach his task in Dallas as a true professional. Acting butt-hurt about the trade from LA, then not wanting to be in Dallas really shining through in his performances. Getting traded is all a part of the business of basketball. Not sure why he didn't understand that...7/2/06 - Denver, CO

remember, he wanted to be traded...after the cp3 deal fell through, lamar asked mitch to trade him...dallas should have taken this as a sign that maybe not all of lamar's oars are hitting water
as for him coming back...doubtful but depending how the playoff play out, kobe might demand him and fish to come back...cuz lord knows all the lakers need are more old guys :roll:0 -

Yeah, he demanded a trade after he got his feelings hurt by finding out he was trade bait. When your team is involved in a trade rumor of that caliber, I think it's safe to assume that the only person on the Lakers that is safe at that point is Kobe.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

Good article about the strides that Kevin Love has made this season.

It's a shame the Wolves are int he position they are now. If he was on a more contending team, sure enough he'd have to get some nods for MVP. His numbers are off the charts.
If him and Rubio stay together, I really see them becoming a huge duo. It was a real shame what happened to Rubio with him tearing his ACL, he's such an exciting player to watch. Reminds of a good old #12 that used to set up The Mailman's deliveries.7/2/06 - Denver, CO
