The worst part is the majority of those people never even heard of the Heat 2 years ago. It's not even close, Miami is the worst pro sports town in the country. They shouldn't have a single pro sports team.

Feel...Feel...Feel...Feel my Heaaaaaat.......feel my heat. They will still probably lose this thing but somehow if LeBron wins this shit it would be awesome. I will literally watch Skippy B. pout all day long and enjoy every minute of it. 81 you need OKC to win 3 straight to prevent the opening of a new thread that only I will post in about King Derrick.

I think this is one of the main reasons everyone hates the Heat. Miami is an AWFUL sports town who doesn't deserve a team this good. Oh well...can still hope for a miracle comeback.

    Why We Hate LeBron

No one denies that LeBron James is a phenomenal young talent who has turned in some almost supernaturally good performances, but he's still generally unloved by fans. Here's why:

Skills second only to Kobe, touch second only to Bird, vision second only to Magic, and strength second only to Russell; therefore, pretty much a worthless second-rater
Was supposed to be the next Jordan, but chose friendship over a monomaniacal obsession with winning bordering on mental illness
Does this really annoying thing where he isn't always playing on Team USA and is instead playing for the Heat so then you have to root against him
Significant percentage of sports fans are jealous of his high school diploma
Abandoned and gave up on Cleveland, albeit decades after the rest of us did
Makes us feel guilty for never doing anything to make Cleveland better ourselves
Dunked over the pope at last year’s St. Peter's Basketbasilica Jamfest, even though the game was already out of hand
Televising The Decision repelled and frightened the American public, most of whom have spent their whole lives trying to avoid making decisions
Basically, it's easier not to really think about it

Why did Harden grab the ball!?!?!?!? Let the shot clock expire!!!!!!!!

Without that stupid mistake, Westbrook's stupid mistake would have never happened.

Hate to pull the ol' NBA officiating thing, but is it my imagination or are Wade and Bron Bron getting all the calls? Durant is being treated like a second-class citizen.

It's been pretty bogus. Like, should be 3-1 OKC or over bogus.

Big mistakes by OKC are going to cost them this series. :fp:

It would be remarkable if they won 3 straight but I just don't see it happening.

I've got a piece that all the die-hard LeBron haters can use once he gets his ring... just throw out the whole "the title is insignificant because it wasn't a full season".

jerk  Problem is last night was the first time the Heat really won - they should be down 3-1 right now. Not sure what that means...can OKC win 6 out of 7 against the Heat?

While I agree with you that some calls (all season long) are questionable, there comes a time when you just gotta see other things that are happening too. But one of the most bogus calls I saw last night was the "foul" called on Westbrook when KD had a clean block, and Russell didn't even touch Wade.

However, as much as I want OKC to win, you've got to admit that they've had their fair share of poor decisions on the floor.

I'm not using it because I don't believe it. It's the season that was handed to the players to play. I think LeBron has been playing great the last 5-6 games of this post-season, and I've had a great time watching him. He was excellent at getting his teammates involved last night with his passing.

I don't hate LeBron, but I'm not a fan. I dislike Wade more because I think he's a poor sport. I'm still bothered that the league did nothing about him shoving Collison, yet they gave Artest a flagrant for a fantastic block/foul (not a flagrant by any means, just hard defense) against OKC. :fp:

Stern wants to review and remedy flopping in the league, I would suggest he also take a look at the refs and their calling and not calling of flagrants.

They have, it is true. Especially the beard in this series. What happened, man? However, and I know you play bahl (spelled that way intentionally because bahl is a goddamn religion mother fuckers), so you know how frustrating it would be to have your mistakes compounded by one bad call after another. It would be hard to not get demoralized. If I were Brooks, I would have earned a "T" last night when I started eating one of the ref's face off.

Harden and Westbrook seem to both take one step forward, then two steps back. Great players, but this is definitely a learning experience for them, just like it was for Miami last year.

Harden just needs to maintain his confidence. Westbrook needs to keep up his great offense, but slow down the decision making. One thing I've noticed is that OKC has been forgetting the very words that Brooks has preached "make the extra pass, trust your teammates".

    Just my observations of course.

really ... this is proof there is no god ...

OKC are definitely choking under the pressure ... no semblance of an offense in the closing minutes ... and just horrible TO's ... they do also need to realize they are not going to get ANY calls in the last part of the game ...

The no semblance of an offense is so true. Also, I understand Miami is a good defensive team, but do not settle for deep jump shots so quickly, try and push the ball inside before settling for the outside shot.

Lastly, be aware of the game clock/shot clock situation and DO NOT foul when it is not necessary!

They pretty clearly needed to run somethin else to get Durant open down the stretch last night. Don't think it's a total coincidence that there's been a big coaching issue in the 3 games they've lost. He's had his hands tied a bit with the officiating, but while I don't think he's necessarily getting outcoached by Spoeltstra, he hasn't stepped up his game.

And yeah....What a boneheaded play. Westbrook just lost his shit down the stretch.
