His dunks are sick and great, but each time I see Griffin play, his post offense (aside from dunking) is laughable. I'm still not sold on Griffin simply because of the dunks.

ya, but i think his D will come around. i'd def. want him on my team.

To reference the debate that was had on TNT not too long ago; would you rather have Griffin or Love?

    I'd rather have Love.

    today or tommorrow?

today i take Love. he is more polished and seems to have his head screwed on straight.

Griffin seems to be a bit of head case which causes him to lose focus when things are going his way.

interesting debate but i agree with yous guys: love over bg. love doesnt have the flash but he is a GREAT rebounder and the man can play inside or out. doesnt he shoot like 40% from 3?

They're pretty comparable, statistically (Blake has more PPG on the career, but Love has played longer)... but Love still wins me over. Blake does has the luxury of having some good players (Butler, Jordan, Paul) to help him on the offense.

I don't think Love has that luxury as much as Griffin does. Also, I think Griffin wins in a comparison of athleticism...

Approximately 38% on his career, but he is 40% thus far in 11-12, and I can see it improving over time.

I think Love is more fundamentally sound at this point. He's superior on the block, and in my opinion (and how I like to see basketball played), that is a key element of a PF's game...

just my take and opinion though.

Honestly, that really wasn't a dunk by Blake. That was more of a throw down. He had to hold on to Perkins to help him not fall and land that "dunk".

I've heard. I think Skip Bayless said on First Take yesterday that it was also a throw down. When you watched it live when it happened, it looked like an insane dunk. But after watching the replay and different angles of it, it was clearly a throw down.

I can't stand Griffin. He is a head case and a giant baby!

I miss Andre Miller putting him in his place...

That is great. Miller is a very underated player.

    Yep and Yep.

I miss him here in Portland.

He wasn't called for a foul that game. But the league reviewed it and suspended him a game. Ending something very dear to Andre's heart...consecutive games played. He was up to 632, I think, before the suspension. That's really unheard of in this league. I have much respect for Vets like Dre.

I hate to give "the dunk" another day of shelf life....but how is it not a foul when you catapult yourself off another dude? :?
