i'm have no problem buying from a second hand seller below face. sometimes, artists over chrage and once second hand tickets hit the market, you can buy them cheaper.
the chi show has over flow pre-sale, not sure if it's fan club related or not. in regards to the scalpers, I do know that last time around, i was able to get tix to see ed for $19 each. if people don't buy these scalper tix just wait til the last day or two and they will drop prices like you won't believe.

No one knows. It is listed that there will be a fanclub presale on livenation.com, but who knows. If there is a password it will be emailed to you today or tomorrow from the 10 Club. If you want to PM others that password and lower your chances of getting tickets go for it. Not to mention you PM'ng that password could directly influence that password getting into scalpers hands who will definitely get most of the tickets.

I called Providence performing Arts Center, I asked them if there a pre-sale Thursday. The person that answered the phone put me on hold and asked somebody else. When they got back on the phone with me they said there is a pre-sale and you should have got an email from the fan club, its not done through them. I think they probably were just talking about the pre-sale yesterday. I think some venues are doing it, and some arent. i really wish somebody would clarify the exact details.

It sounds like 10C may be doing the same thing the did with the MSG PJ shows last year: have an additional, TM-based pre-sale for fan club members. I also have a a feeling that most of the venues will have their own presales, as they almost always do for acts.

Yea man, I ended up getting 2nd row at MSG II. It was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I had never won the lottery after double digit opportunites and finally won it that night. Some guy offered me close to $1,000 for the pair but I declined. hehe In Seattle 09 they messed up my tickets one night, so i wasnt all that close both nights. I did end up getting 4th row somehow at Philly night 3 in 09 too!!!

Has anybody received an email password through the oakland, CA. Paramount Theater? I just signed up with them and hope I wasn't too late and they already sent an email out. If they did will somebody share the password with me? I was too on the 10 club site trying to get tickets and didn't get any. I have been heart broken
Assuming the presale is through the venue, you should be good. They have not sent anything out yet. Could be a radio station presale though...in which case the Paramount would not be sending out the password. Good luck!

So curiosity peaked by this thread I headed over to the website for the Providence venue known as PPAC around here. I had a hell of a time finding any mention of the 6/15 Eddie Vedder show any where on the main site or even in the Upcoming Shows link, Not even on the venues calendar! Finally I click a link at the top of the main page that says BUY TICKETS. This link brought me to another list of upcoming shows at the bottom of the list: EDDIE VEDDER Pre-sale 3/31! So I called the box office where I was able to speak to a real human “wining” I asked how I could obtain the Password? She told me it was or will be distributed by the fan club!
So I imagine some kind of e-mail bomb to members who were shut out or like last year for the NYC shows everyone will get it tomorrow with a request that fans that where able to get tickets not buy any for the first few hours …..IDK.

Agreed. If you feel the need to tell a friend who isnt paying attention for some reason....send them a PM or an email. But posting it would be dumb.
with a presale, I hope people know they usually do not put the best seats available for sale. They will save most of those for the public onsale.
I wouldn't take that chance. If I didn't get tickets yesterday, my motto would be "get in the building" If you are worried about better seats to the public, buy them then also and sell the ones you don't want for face value to another member who doesn't get in.

I agree. Often times presale tickets are better. I wouldn't make any assumptions. The presale is just one more opportunity to grab tickets. AFter two presales I wouldn't expect a ton of tickets left over for the general sale.
How are tickets to see EV already being scalped at prices of around $1000.00 ? This is very upsetting because real fans are missing out and once upon a time stopping this bs used to be pearl jam's passion. Are these 10C tickets? I believe the perfect gig is Ed playing to a crowd of real pearl jam fans who don't abuse the 10C privileges of pre-sale tickets to these shows.
