Amazing show. I'm once again blown away by the raw power of Mr. McCready.

I'm sorry, I'm unable to share anything right now.

    My ears are ringing alarmingly.

    I knew all the words.

I am clutching tightly the pic I caught from Mike.

I got to meet Poncier, Youngster, Fenway Faithful, shades are RAISED, and a very nice lurker (who shall remain nameless) and *Boston Lou*.

I babbled ceaselessly to Mr. Unlost who kindly came into town to pick me up.

    I'll try again tomorrow.

    Carry on.

  • My face has been sufficently melted. That was copious amounts of awesome.

And to the two young girls in front of me, i hope Mike took you out to dinner or bought you something nice, cuz if he was eyefucking you any more you could have got pregnant.

My face has been melted as well. To no one's surprise, Mike stole the show. The way he interacts with the crowd, his amazing guitar playing - there are no words to describe how awesome he was.

I was lucky enough to meet Jeff and Dug before the show (lucky I brought my Tres Mts CD because Jeff would not sign any PJ related stuff). And during the show I stood on Mike's side and was amazed at how close he was and how much fun it looked like he and the rest of the guys were having (Richard was a beast on the drums!)

  • Good News: The show rocked more than I expected!

Bad News: I can't listen to the record anymore because it was all so good live.

dUg sounded great and Mike was outstanding.

Don't miss them if you have a chance. Can't wait for the next time.

Great to meet some of you at T's beforehand.

    Cheers!

  • Just got home. Great show! Even though the opener almost made me leave. Some fucked up one man band with this mask on and shit! Shit was whack!! But Tres rocked it and Mike was within arms length distance doing his thing for much of the night! I hooked him up with a shirt I made. I'll post a picture of this two of a kind shirt soon. Def enjoyed the show and they ended it with some ZZ Topp & Hendrix which was pretty fucking cool!

Thanks for coming to Boston fellas!!
  • And Jeff not signing Pearl Jam related shit? What up with that?! Don't bite the hand that feeds you hommie!

Amazing! I met some people from here and some people from home. The opener was whack. Loved the bedazzled mask  Mike was amazing and stole the show. I was within grabbing distance of Jeff's ankle, no I didn't do it. Now to get tickets for Eddie in Providence. This is turning out to be an expensive obsession

I met Doug in the front bar when the horrible opening act was on. Doug was awesome. He was graciously taking photos with anyone who asked. As for the show, they were great. Doug is a great front man and MM loves the spotlight. JA plays a mean bass line and Stuverud was on fire. MM definitely stole the show as I have never been so transfixed on someone other than lead singer as he just doesn't stop for one minute. On a side note I hated the pole on the left side of the floor as it was a pain in the ass to see the entire stage. Overall, I hope Tres Mts. is at PJ 20 as they would make a great opening act. :D

No .... you know I'm a Sox fan!

I was about 5 rows in front of Mike, got showered with Mike's picks at one point. :D

oh, and when did they do the renovation at the Paradise? Place seemed much smaller ... was it me, or was the stage way out into the floor more than it used to be?

And there was a new bar where a coat check room used to be ... and no corridor leading into the place.

Not sure I like the work they did.

I give you a pass, you're too young to remember Roxy Music ... good lord ... holy crap ... I cannot elaborate how unfucking believable that was.

One other note as I collect myself ... Doug sounded a little off at the top of the show, think they needed to adjust his levels ... but man, by the end of the show, he was SO on point ... man, I need to pull out my King's X collection again ... guy is fantastic.

Great night, the opener gull was really fucking cool, always like to see someone doing something different, and tres mts were just on fire having alot of fun, good crowd I was mikes side 4 rows back and it was a joy to see these guys in such an intimate setting! These songs are so much better live!! I got a cool backspacer pic from mike and I picked up the tres vinyl at the end of the show, great buy, also met Doug after the show and he signed it for me, really nice guy-all in all great night, had a blast! Thank you tres mts.!!!

Fantastic show. I was in awe of Mike's playing. The dude is on another level. He was insane. Dug sounded great, Jeff had tons of energy and seemed to be in great spirits. Richard is amazing on the drums. If McCready wasn't there I'd say he was the hardest woring guy on the stage. Thank you to LoveBoatAdmiral for giving me his second pic from Mike that he got. I was about 5 rows from Mike when he threw out pics and you would have thought he was throwing breadcrumbs to a bunch of starving people. I'm not the type to jump over people or crawl on the floor to get a pic. Thank you LBA for keeping me in mind. Got to meet Poncier and Unlost Dogs which was great. Overall great night and good luck to all on Tuesday trying to get Ed tickets.

definitely a great show. these guys really ripped it up, and were having fun. mike was great as always, leaning into the crowd while playing, and even bent down and took a picture in front with some people in the middle of a solo. richard was amazing, such a fun drummer to watch. plenty of posters to go around for all, but no signed ones like there were earlier in the tour.

I got to meet dug before the show real quick, and richard came down after the show and hung out with the crowd. no signs of jeff or mike all night, and security pushed everyone out the door pretty quickly at the end so we couldn't hang around too much. all I know was that as richard was signing my vinyl a mike pick hit me in the cheek and fell on the floor. could only have come from the balcony right above me, but some other dude grabbed it off the floor before I could get it. finders keepers I guess I still want to know where it came from...

Well, you guys have said most of it already. The Tres MTs. album is pretty good, but they really take it to another level live. Richard is friggin great. And Mike's kind of OK. ;) Holes in the Road, Mystery, She's My New Song and My Baby were all just smokin'.

After having a pick bounce right off my hand at the end of Afrosheena, finally got one at the end of the show.

Enjoyed meeting Unlost Dogs, Pillow Pants, Youngster, Fenway Faithful, Shades are raised, Bostonlou and Mike the Lurker(don't be stranger, hope to see you at the PPAC) at T's and hanging at the show with you guys (and gal).

Jimed...as they were playing In Every Dream Home a Heartache, I was thinking "I wonder what Bryan Ferry would think of this?"...great version...all 3 covers were great, finally seeing Mike play a Hendrix tune in person...after SRV passed, Mike's one of the few left who I think can do Hendrix material justice in terms of both technical proficiency and the right feel...simply awesome.

Sorry I missed a few of you at T's, Crazy Breed, Steve Dunne...we'll have to meet up in June...and Jimed you must have been damn close to me at the show, would have enjoyed meeting you and discussing the epic season that was 1978...hopefully next time you trek home.

Great way to spend a Sunday night.
