Man I'm soo broke right now. If I can afford it (I will find a way), looks like I'm deciding between Chicago and St. Louis. Wish I could do both.

Seriously? Canada got their OWN TOUR in '05, plus other random shows after that. The southwest haven't gotten any shows since before the Canada tour.

Well they've played the major Canadian cities more times than theyve played the major texas cities in the past 10 years. Dallas and Houston (and other southern cities like ATL) haven't seen PJ shows since 03. At least ATL got an eddie show in 09..but we got shafted yet again!

It's not a choice, so much as it's dependent on venue availability and band/personal calender. People need not get all heated and personalise things. :)

Glad to see Detroit getting a show.

I will probably hit up the Philly show myself.

I tend to agree with the others that the whole Hartford / Boston / New York / Philly / CA routine is getting to be a bit much......and I say that being from the Northeast.

... infact I would say that Europe has been luckier than The South for dates over recent years....

And to clarify, I am not being ungrateful. I appreciate how hard it is to keep fans happy but I do feel that US Southerners get a raw deal. This tour announcement does not effect me but it doesn't stop me being disappointed for my friends and fellow fans in a beautiful part of the world.

We have been exceptionally lucky over the last few years in Europe and I have often thanked and defended Tenclub for this, I am just disappointed in their seemingly lack of love for Southern fans. I am waited to be proved wrong. That is all. Keep calm; carry on.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

same old shit. hit the same places time after time. no south. no texas. what's the point in waiting for these announcements anymore?

Yep, I don't even know why I get my hopes up anymore. It's been like this for years. I could MAYBE hit St Louis, if I wanna spend close to $1000 on travel expesnses and concert tickets.

That is way I am feeling. I cant justify dropping that kind of money anymore on a show many miles away. I am getting older and other things are becoming more important. If I have to spend that kind of money to see Eddie and/or the band, then I will pass and take the saved funds and travel the world. I have had my share of great shows and treasure the memories dearly, but it may be time for me to move on.

Good luck to everyone and I hope you enjoy the shows.
