    No they're tawny frogmouths. And I love they've gone to the effort to research our native birds - great effort! Wonder if it will be a theme for the rest of the shows

    I don't like the first poster at all.

    That is a tour poster the ed surfing one. SO that will be a staple of the tour, and then there will be a show specific poster too... SO I am doing 3 shows so 4 posters.. Plus 2 zippos, plus maybe a t-shirt per night plus what ever I can fit into my pockets....


    I am still amazed by that poster. Brisbane got the worst poster of the 09 tour IMO, going to be tough to beat...

    oh ok... i wonder whether its the same stock or like the cheaper Klausen ones from the 06 tour

    Tawny frogmouths are beautiful owls....
    We have them where I live and night time they make a funny noise...
    And day time they blend into the gum tree branches and look just like a branch amazing...
    I found a dead one last yr it was huge I think it just died of old age.. :(
    fell out of the tree... I guess birds just die sometimes without being hunted

    nah, in Northern sydney suburbs like 2 years ago came home from tennis, and there was a bit of movement and there was young one lying on my nature strip. SO me and my neighbour put it up in a tree where it stayed until someone from wildlife park could take it. Turns out it was blind, What happens is because they are nocturnal at night they fly in the light made from cars headlights to get moths and stuff and get hit, and get concussion and this one got blinded...

    Fortunately he said that normally they would euthanase them, but this one they decided to keep it and take to schools and stuff...

    Looks like i'm gonna end up spending BIG at the Melbourne Shows... knowing that this will probably be Ed's only Oz solo tour, i am gonna have to get my hands on absolutley everything!!!! :mrgreen::mrgreen:

    The Merch looks absolutley AMAZING!! As do the posters!!! ..... I'm gonna be BROKE!!! BIG TIME!! :lol::lol:

    Yeah they swoop at night I nearly hit one once.. thank god I didnt..
